At Water Bear CrossFit, it isn’t about being the strongest or fastest person in the room. It’s about building a body that’s strong, capable, and ready for anything.
The fundamentals come down to a few key principles:
🔹 Functional Movement — Train movements that translate to real life: squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, running, jumping, and carrying.
🔹 Constantly Varied — Keep your training fresh by combining different movements, workouts, time domains, and intensities.
🔹 High Intensity — Work hard, but intensity is relative. The goal is to challenge your current fitness level safely and consistently.
🔹 Mechanics → Consistency → Intensity — Master the movement first. Build consistency second. Then increase intensity. Quality always comes before speed or load.
🔹 Train All 10 Fitness Domains — Cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
🔹 Community — One of the best parts of Water Bear CrossFit is the people. We train together, push each other, celebrate progress, and keep showing up.
💯 The goal isn’t to be great at one thing. It’s to become better at everything.
Start with the basics. Move well. Stay consistent. Get stronger. And let the results follow.
Fitness is a journey. Show up and put in the work.
