Nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Southwest Virginia, Riversong Cabins offers a place for guests to unwind, relax and enjoy nature in its purest form. Riversong Cabins offer the perfect location for biking or horseback riding alongside the scenic New River, catching a bluegrass festival nearby or sitting on one of the porch swings while listening to the harmonious 'song' of the New River

. This area of the Blue Ridge has found a way to preserve the culture, music and way of life of the original pioneers that first settled here. Rates

$110 per night (plus tax) - 2 night minimum

Five years into running Riversong Cabins and I’ve learned a lot — including the fact that some guests apparently love our décor so much they decide it should go home with them.

Now, don’t get me wrong: most of our guests are absolutely wonderful. You treat the cabins with care, enjoy the amenities, and leave the space ready for the next family. We appreciate you more than you know.

But over the years, a surprising number of items have “mysteriously vanished.” Pillows? Gone. Towels? Gone. 10 sets of Decorative candles? Gone. 7 sets of hand‑painted mantel trees? Gone. Eight Rae Dunn blankets? Gone. Bathroom trash cans, toiletry trays, board games, DVDs — even a DVD player.

I promise, we do not offer parting gifts.

Riversong is a small operation — it’s just me trying to create a cozy, stylish, comfortable space, JP keeping everything running, and Charlie making sure the snacks are safe. When things disappear, it makes it harder (and more expensive) to keep the cabins feeling special.

So this is just a friendly reminder: please enjoy everything during your stay, but leave it behind when you check out.
