Iron Gate Swordfighting

Iron Gate Swordfighting Historical European Martial arts / Historical Fencing It is based on historical manuscripts created around the 14th century.

Iron Gate Swordfighting is an Historical Fencing club that studies the art of Armizare, an Italian martial art created by master Fiore dei Liberi. We train in Grappling, Dagger, Longsword, Poleaxe and Spear along with various other weapons from the Historical European Martial Arts. We also travel and compete in tournaments. Historical fencing is a rapidly growing sport.

Summer hours are here! Our Sunday class is now from 10 AM to 2 PM so we can beat the heat!

Hey folks! Iron Gate will be at the Tulare County Renaissance Faire this weekend, 4/18 and 4/19, so we will not have our regularly scheduled class on Sunday. Starting Sunday 4/26 we will be back up and running our regular longsword classes at our new location!
