FSA Badminton Club Fall 2026 Update

Hello everyone,

We are excited to announce that registration is open for our fall 2026 session of Recreational Badminton at Fresno State! Here is some important information about the session:

- We will be playing on Fridays and Sundays from August 21 to December 27.
- The schedule is Fridays 6 to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- The registration fee is $70 for the full session or $10 for a one-day pass.

Please remember that everyone needs to register before they play.

New clothespin

Everyone will once again receive a new clothespin for the new session. Your clothespin should be labelled with your first name or nickname. Please make sure to spell out your first name (initials alone are not allowed). This ensures that fellow players can easily recognize when it’s your turn to play.

South Gym Policies

Thank you to everyone who has been following the policies for maintaining a clean gym. Please keep in mind the following:

- No beverages, other than water, are allowed in the gym.
- No food is allowed in the gym or in the halls. Please eat at the table in the lobby.
- Only shoes with non-marking soles are allowed to be worn in the gym.
- Bicycles and scooters should stay outside. Don't bring them into the South Gym building.

If you notice any marks on the floor or anything that might need cleaning, please inform one of the badminton club officers. Your attention to these university regulations is very important and we appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to speak with one of the club officers.

FSA Badminton Club Summer 2026 Update

We are excited to announce that registration is open for our summer 2026 session of Recreational Badminton at Fresno State! Here is some important information about the session:

- We will be playing on Fridays and Sundays from July 3 to August 16.
- The schedule is Fridays 6 to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- The registration fee is $35 for the full session or $10 for a one-day pass.

Update... The first session will be on Wednesday June 17 6pm - 8pm in the Reyburn gym. The session on Thursday June 18 has been cancelled. Future sessions will be on Thursdays.

This is an update from Sonny for the FSA Spring badminton session at Fresno State.

The Spring session has been extended to include two days at the end of June:

Friday June 26: 6 PM to 10:30 PM
Sunday June 28: 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM

We would have included more days in June but unfortunately the gym isn't available during the first 3 weeks of the month.

Reminder... Holmes Playground gym hosts badminton on Thursdays 5 PM - 6:30 PM. It's free to play and they have some rackets and shuttles that anyone can use. Holmes Playground is located on First Street just south of Tulare Ave. Contact them if you have any questions.

Note for one-day pass purchasers... It can be confusing trying to purchase additional one-day passes after you have purchased your first pass. The easiest way to purchase additional passes is to find your email receipt for your previous purchase. Then look inside that email and click the "Update Your Registration" link. You can then update the registration with the number of new passes you want to purchase and the days you want to attend.

- We will be playing on Fridays and Sundays from January 2 to May 31.

- The schedule is Fridays 6 to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

- There are 44 days to play during the session.

- The registration fee is $70 for the full session or $10 for a one-day pass.

The Kinesiology Department has made another request. They are concerned about sand being brought into the gym on our shoes. At minimum, we should be wiping our shoes on the doormats as we enter the South Gym building. Additionally, if possible, we should carry our badminton shoes to the gym rather than walking from the parking lot while wearing them.

This is an update for FSA Badminton at Fresno State. Tuesday November 11 from 1 PM to 5 PM has been added to the schedule. You don't need to buy a parking permit at Fresno State on that day because it's a holiday.
