Sal's Gunsmithing I retired as an Engineer and utilized my background as a Sculptor deciding to follow my passion and became an Artisan Gunsmith.

The page is for me to share information pertaining to my various forms of work. This is a point in my life were I have combined my text abilities as an engineer and my genetic ability as an artist. I wish to thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Here you can find examples of work I completed over the years. All of my work is based on the referral from individuals who have entrusted me with their fi****ms. I focus on completing work by hand. I have completed many restorations. Some pieces over 100 years old.

Greetings everyone!! Today I realized that I have been involved in the art of working with fi****ms for over 10 years. All that I have learned and shared during this time. From the aspect of repairing, building, tuning, chambering and the list goes on. I know there is still much to learn. For example, I have had my milling machine for 6 years. Today I replaced the motor along with the pot switch. I also adjusted the motor control switch on the main board. One never ceases to learn. I focus on the art and the maintenance of my equipment. I encourage anyone of you who has the desire to learn any aspect of fi****ms to go for it. You shall be pleased as to what you can do. Good luck and pursue your passion.

Happy New Year everyone !! I wish the best to all of you. I have been blessed with the ability to work and share my knowledge with people I meet daily. I have been so focused on projects that I have not posted in a while.
