18th->8th at magnolia!

After struggling the first half of the night with a tight Racecar we finally got it dialed in for the feature and was able to rally a top 10!

A HUGE thanks goes out to Mr Bobby Link and the Link family for the opportunity to wheel his car this weekend, we were able to get him a great base line to start with and I can’t wait to see him run up front some this year!

Now I head back north and get back to SSI!

Weather permitting we will be at Pine ridge speedway this Friday night (3/28) and we will truck on to Whynot Motorsports Park Saturday night (3/29)!

I can’t wait to get home for the weekend and get back behind the wheel!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to opt out of the xr 604 nationals. With this being said , as much as we hate to end our season, our 2024 racing season is over ,with our last race of the season being the Fall classic!

Fall classic recap~

Friday night we qualified 3rd out of 47 cars, that had me starting on the pole of the 3rd heat. I ended up falling back to finish 5th in the heat and they only took the top 3 to the feature.

Saturday night we rolled off 3rd in the 3rd bmain but just couldn’t make anything work and ended up 4th only taking the top 2.

To say it was a disappointing weekend would be an understatement, we started the weekend off great and just steadily went down hill

As always I can’t thank God enough for keeping me and everyone else safe for another weekend of racing, and also a huge thanks to everyone that helped me this weekend!

This weekend will conclude our 2024 season until December 11-14 at al-tech for the xr 604 nationals!

Cotton pickin recap~

Saturday night we rolled off from 6th in the main event, after searching around the bottom I fell back to around 14th but quickly found the cushion and was able to make a charge back to 8th and after restarting on the bottom I made a rookie mistake and hit a yuke tire ending our run on lap 25. We were scored 18th with a DNF

It had been an up and down weekend that ended without the results I wanted but it was still a fun weekend with some great people!
