Please pick the gokart that you think looks the best in each class. The top 20 in each class that raced 75% of the regular events are eligible to be included on this poll. It’s almost time for the Turkey Chase! 🦃

Lilah has spent this season learning, growing, and gaining experience in her kart while competing in the rookie class. For the Turkey Chase, she’s taking on a new challenge and bumping up to Amateur! We’re incredibly proud of how far she’s come and excited to see her take this next step in her racing journey!

A multi-day event like the Turkey Chase comes with some extra costs. While Lilah was fortunate enough to receive sponsorship support at the beginning of the season, we’re reaching out to see if anyone would be interested in helping her get to this special event!

What a race! A lot of cautions, race took a while. Trent drove up to 6th but dropped back to 8th after another car rolled over.

Driver got out of the car SMILING. After a stressful regular season, that was nice to see. Again, pretty happy given we’ve never raced here.

What a way to end our season!! A great night at the track surrounded by lots of friends and family and we couldn’t be more grateful. 🏁

Took 3rd in our heat, transferred to the A!!!

Starting 12th in the feature. No expectations as we have never raced here.

✨Weekend recap✨

And what a weekend it was…

Trent- went out for his heat. Started last and drove up to 2nd. Car felt great and he was excited for the A! Unfortunately, two laps into the A, our driver got unnecessarily side slammed in between 3&4 and it absolutely shredded his axle and possibly bent the rear end. Had to be towed off the track. Not entirely surprising that our first time on the hook would be championship night.. Finished 20th that night! Went into it expecting 2 or 3rd in points, and we ultimately got 2nd. After only 4 full years of racing, we’ll take it! Points weren’t our goal this year, winning a race was. We didn’t quite get there, but hopefully soon 🤞🏼 our plan was to finish the year at sprint nationals on Friday night but we have major work to do if we want to make it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ we will see

Lilah- last week was her points championship night. She ended up 3rd in points overall! As rookie parents, we are ecstatic for her! Her uncle asked her if she wanted to go gokarting at a new track yesterday so we tripped up to Norfolk. Her first heat she was doing great, running 3rd I believe, but her gas pedal turned mid race and she felt uncomfortable finishing so she pulled off. 2nd heat wasn’t bad! She started pole and finished 3rd. We strongly encouraged Lilah to do what she felt best yesterday. She didn’t want to change anything. Girl finished 5th! Probably should have changed gears but it was a good way to show her the importance of that. She had fun!

As always, we are grateful just to be able to race. As a mom/wife I am just grateful when my two get out of the car/karts unscathed 🤭
We’ll see if we can get the car together for Friday. If not, see y’all at the next one 🏁

See you at Eagle Raceway tonight! Following A features is the mechanics race and my father-in-law, Roger Bayliff, will by jumping in my hobby.

Grateful for this year and everything it’s taught us. Let’s go racing! 🏁

Good morning! Life got hectic yesterday and we were unable to post the winner right away.

Here is the video of the winner. I will comment under the original post. If you are unable to go, please let me know so we can get the ticket to someone who can go! This is the last week the tickets will be accepted at the gate.
