Happy International Yoga Day! We hope you’re having a fantastic day. As promised, here’s today’s yogi question:

“What’s the difference between a Level 1, Level 2, and all-level class? Can I just go to any of them?”

Yoga class levels can feel confusing, but here’s what they actually mean 🧘‍♀️👇
Studios label things differently, but in general:

✨ Level 1: slower pace, more demos, more guidance
🔥 Level 2: faster flow, less explanation, more strength + endurance
⚖️ All-level: built for everyone—you adjust the challenge to fit you

💡 Here’s the catch: slow doesn’t always mean easy.
Holding poses longer can be just as intense as moving quickly.

And yes, you can technically take any class.
But jumping into advanced without a foundation?
It can leave you feeling lost, frustrated, or pushing too hard.

🌱 Start where you are
🚫 Don’t compare your practice to others
🧘‍♂️ Take breaks when you need (child’s pose = always okay)

Even experienced yogis go back to the basics; there’s always something new to learn.

At the end of the day:
Yoga isn’t about keeping up.
It’s about tuning in. ✨

Happy International Yoga Day!
It’s so wonderful to connect with you here. To celebrate, we’ve put together a fun, easy-to-follow sequence that we’d love to share with you.
Whether you want to try it out right now from the comfort of your screen, or pop into the studio to flow with us in person, you are so welcome here. We promise we're a friendly bunch!
At MBZ, we’re incredibly proud of the warm, welcoming community our students have built. If you’ve always thought of yoga as just a physical workout, you're not alone. The poses are usually the only part people see! But there is a whole world of mindfulness, stress relief, and community waiting for you here, too.
Whenever you're ready to explore what yoga can bring to your life, our doors are open.
Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful day!
Namaste.

In celebration of International Yoga Day, we’ll be answering one question from our clients weekly until June 21, 2026. This week's question:

"How do I make my partner want to come to yoga with me?"

Truth is—you can’t make someone love yoga. And you can’t make them want it. That has to come from within.

If it never clicks for them? That’s okay, find your people. Build your yoga community.

Not what you wanted to hear, I know.
But here’s the flip side: maybe they’re a little curious, just unsure where to start.

Meet them there.

Think about their body and background: active or not, flexible or tight, high or low endurance. One class feels different to everyone.

Then consider what they want—challenge or chill? Strength or stress relief?
And remember, not all yoga is the same. The right class (and teacher) can change everything.

At the end of the day: support > pressure.
Yoga finds people when it’s meant to.

In celebration of International Yoga Day, we’ll be answering one question from our clients weekly until June 21, 2026. To kick things off, let’s dive into this common one:

"How do I keep my mat clean?"

In yoga, cleanliness isn't just about housekeeping, it’s actually a spiritual practice. While many of us focus on the physical poses we do in the studio, yoga also encompasses deep philosophical and cultural elements. One of these is saucha, or the observance of purity/ cleanliness.

Saucha teaches us the importance of cleanliness in all aspects of life. While none of us are perfect, we can always strive for purity in our thoughts, our intentions, and yes, our physical environment...including our yoga mats!

Here are some suggestions:
1. The Rotation
Keep two to three mats in rotation. This ensures you have a fresh surface ready to go if one is "in the wash."

2. The Yoga Shower
About once a month, or after a particularly sweaty session, bring the mat into the shower with you. Rinse it with warm water and then take it outside to air dry (but do not expose it to the direct sun). Depending on the weather and the thickness of the mat, it can take 24–48 hours to dry completely.

3. The Daily Refresh
In between deep cleans, spray your mat with a simple DIY spray: a 1:1 ratio of water and rubbing alcohol (or witch hazel) and 8–10 drops of your favorite essential oils. Give the mat a quick mist and wipe it down before rolling it up after every practice
In the spirit of Saucha, give your mat a little extra love this week!
