Happy International Yoga Day! We hope you’re having a fantastic day. As promised, here’s today’s yogi question:
“What’s the difference between a Level 1, Level 2, and all-level class? Can I just go to any of them?”
Yoga class levels can feel confusing, but here’s what they actually mean 🧘♀️👇
Studios label things differently, but in general:
✨ Level 1: slower pace, more demos, more guidance
🔥 Level 2: faster flow, less explanation, more strength + endurance
⚖️ All-level: built for everyone—you adjust the challenge to fit you
💡 Here’s the catch: slow doesn’t always mean easy.
Holding poses longer can be just as intense as moving quickly.
And yes, you can technically take any class.
But jumping into advanced without a foundation?
It can leave you feeling lost, frustrated, or pushing too hard.
🌱 Start where you are
🚫 Don’t compare your practice to others
🧘♂️ Take breaks when you need (child’s pose = always okay)
Even experienced yogis go back to the basics; there’s always something new to learn.
At the end of the day:
Yoga isn’t about keeping up.
It’s about tuning in. ✨
