Congrats to Davis Lenz on finishing 6th place at the tournament of champions going 5-3 in the individual and 5-0 in duals! Makade Quick finished 1-2 in individual and 4-1 in duals and our youth wrestler Aris Sewell finished the weekend at 2-4. Great job boys!

We had two youth wrestlers compete at the OAC State tournament in Youngstown over the weekend. Aris Sewell and Iyla Messer both qualified the tournament for the 4th straight season! Iyla competed hard and finished the weekend a match away from placing. Aris Sewell finished the weekend with a 6-2 record earning him 4TH place and making him a 3X OAC state placer! Congratulations to our wrestlers on a fantastic season!

We had four SJCC wrestlers compete at the junior high OAC State tournament this weekend in Youngstown. The boys wrestled hard, learned a lot, and had fun. Thank you to our parents and our school for the continued trust and support you give the coaches and wrestlers. Congratulations to our four wrestlers who qualified for state and our TWO OAC State placers!

The SJCC wrestling team competed at the OAC State Duals on Sunday and finished the weekend 3-2 against some very good competition. Big thank you to Drayvn Messer, Jaden Gamblin, Maverick Malott, Jagger LeJeune, Luke Frische, Karson Lee, Stran Schimmel, and Brody Sturzinger. Thank you to the parents and other coaches, it was a great experience for everyone!
