Fishing has been good here in Freeport and Galveston, Texas. Birds have been working in West Galveston Bay, with good numbers of specks under them… though many are under legal keeping size - it does make for some fast action and rods bent! Better keeper size trout have been in 3-4 ft of water drifting over shell. Redfish are mixed in as well over the shell, but more abundant in the marshes targeting drains.

They have fished with us a number of times since that first King Fish Trip… today Jacob booked me to carry him in the backlakes. Just he and I…. Cool stuff.
