September is RedFish time! Year after year - the redfish on the Texas Gulf Coast begin their spawning during this time. The older fish migrate from the Gulf to the passes and Bays and do their “thing”… we know where they are doing their “thing” 🏴‍☠️

Man, Mother Nature has been playing her cards and we are playing with her. The weather in June has been a challenge, however it is actually the norm sometime for the 6th month of the year… we adapt and overcome. Kinda gotten used to it 🏴‍☠️🎣🎣🏴‍☠️

July is around the corner, and in my humble opinion it may likely be the most stable weather month of the year here on the Upper Texas Gulf Coast.

Fishing has been good out of Freeport and Galveston, Texas even with the crazy weather patterns - Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder and Black Drum have been hitting the deck!

We have been bring lots of kiddos out and man they have been slamming some fish!

Fishing has been good here in Freeport and Galveston, Texas. Birds have been working in West Galveston Bay, with good numbers of specks under them… though many are under legal keeping size - it does make for some fast action and rods bent! Better keeper size trout have been in 3-4 ft of water drifting over shell. Redfish are mixed in as well over the shell, but more abundant in the marshes targeting drains.
