Lumina Piano Duo is composed of Dr. Hyejin Cho and Dr. Jun-Hee Han, a married couple who are both professional pianists and educators. They currently teach at Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and North Central College, respectively, and bring their shared passion for music to stages across the region.

"Dear Lovers of Music,

The FCCA 92nd year will start on Sunday afternoon at 3:00, September 29, 2024 in the Freeport Masonic Temple.

The first concert is the 5 member ALLIANCE BRASS. This concert, and all succeeding concerts, will be FREE.

FCCA has brought outstanding classical music to Freeport in the past 91 years. This area has thanked us by attending our concerts and making generous tax deductible contributions. We have spent your money wisely and we believe that this is the time to give back to our Freeport friends.

FCCA will continue to bring interesting, varied, mostly classical music to the Freeport area. All future concerts will be FREE as long as there as assets in the treasury and there are physical assets which we own (such as the 9 foot concert grand Steinway piano). It is our belief that the money raised in this area should benefit this area.

PLEASE support this FCCA effort to promote outstanding music by going to the concerts. PLEASE tell your acquaintances and friends and encourage them to take advantage of this opportunity. The concerts will take place even if you do not come - but concerts are meant to have audiences.

I will greet you from the stage at the intermission of the ALLIANCE BRASS concert on September 29. I will welcome any question which you ask.

At least 2 more concerts have been booked for this year - and - 2 concerts have been booked for the 2025-2026 season. YES, those will all be FREE concerts.

I hope everyone enjoyed the concert on Saturday. We ended up having a conflict and were unable to attend. I'm sure it was great though.
