and we're excited to have our award pies be supplied from Danielle of for the 5th year in a row!

Senza Scarpe is a family farm in Brunswick with pasture raised birds, eggs, baked goods, greens, and more. We're excited to keep the theme of supporting local farms and local food with our awards this year.

She is providing banana mascarpone, blueberry lemon crumble, pumpkin, and apple almond crostada as pie flavors this year 🥧

There's some really strong competition for the pies in almost every category! Can't wait to see who takes home the pie 😍

ID: Danielle, a white woman, stands behind a table of baked goods. There's a cash box on the table, a cooler next to her, and an open pickup behind her. She's standing underneath her canopy that reads "Senza Scarpe Farm Bakery" at the BTLT Farmer's Market in October 2022.

Happy Tuesday friends! We are still looking for more volunteers!

With the course change, we're going to need all day - especially mid-day help - with timing. You'll get training day of for all tasks but if you've done timing previously, we'd love your help! We're keeping it old school by doing timing by hand.

If you're available, you can register on our page: https://runsignup.com/Race/Volunteer/ME/Freeport/FarmtoFarmUltra

Virtual event registration is open & available on RunSignUp as well - you can use the link above. And in-person is on UltraSignUp: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=133994

Shirt deadline is fast approaching! And I'd love to get volunteers their preferred shirt size!

On Sunday 23 Aug, this group did a course preview ahead of race day to get a feel for the course and find any other maintenance notes following the trail work done on 8/22

Everyone stayed vertical which is a surprise since the RD is a wicked klutz!

If you'd like to run the course ahead of race day, you can! The trails are open to all and the course map is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/3434599755929531918

Photos are in order of where they were taken along the course so you can have a sneak peek this way as well!

and today is a special solo shout-out since I've had a post-it for FOUR YEARS to have a flowery welcome for Gordon!

He last ran this race in 2022 and got a fall themed welcome but was jealous of the flowery ones. So here you go Gordon! Happy to have you join us again for the 50mi race - he won the men's 50 in 2022 & holds the 4th fastest time on the old course!

See you on Sunday 27 Sep!

to this past Saturday when this small but mighty crew tackled trail work at FCT's Brewer Woods & Whippoorwill Woods!

Together, they relocated a bridge from Whippoorwill Woods Trail to Brewer Woods Trail (2nd picture) and cleared a number of stumps (3rd pic) and roots to get the course ready for race day!

All of Brewer Woods was worked on and part of Whippoorwill Woods last Saturday. FCT will be out again ahead of race day to work on Whippoorwill Woods Trail and we appreciate their hard work & partnership!

🚨TOMORROW is our trail work day with Freeport Conservation Trust!

We will be joining forces to help the non-profit get the trail in tiptop shape ahead of race day!

We will meet at Brewer Woods at 9a and the work day is only 2hrs - you'll be done before lunch and get a sneak peak of part of the course!

Parking is limited at the Brewer Woods trailhead lot (closest GPS address is 114 Flying Point Road) so carpooling is highly encouraged! We cannot park on the side of Flying Point Road for safety reasons but there is additional parking at Field Estuary (60 Wolfes Neck Rd) and you can walk/run up.

There is no formal registration link but we do need a rough headcount as FCT will be providing the tools and supplies for our workday. There is no age restriction for volunteers as well so feel free to bring your kiddos! If you are interested in joining us, please shoot us (F2F) a message ASAP on Friday 21 Aug so we can let FCT know!

Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed toe shoes; comfortable clothes; bring any water or snacks you may need along with sunscreen, bug spray, and work gloves.
