Make Your Child’s Birthday Extra Special at the Y!

Celebrate with two hours of fun at the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois! Birthday party packages include:

Space for party food
Tables and chairs
Access to the pool, auxiliary gym, and Family Fun Zone
A special YMCA birthday shirt for the birthday child

Party packages are $98 for Y members and $140 for non-members. Pricing is based on the membership status of the birthday child.

Planning to have more than 15 swimmers? A $30 fee will be added to provide a second lifeguard.

Party times are available on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Space is limited, so reserve your child’s celebration early!

We are excited to welcome Amirah Spielman to our team here at the Y!

Amirah has more than 26 years experience as certified personal trainer. “I have had the privilege of helping countless ordinary people accomplish extraordinary things through fitness, nutrition, and consistency”, says Amirah.

She is also a Double Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in thyroid health, weight loss, and nutrition. She is a competitive natural bodybuilder, bodybuilding prep coach, and sports performance coach.

Whether you are just getting started or looking to take your fitness to the next level, Amirah is here to meet you where you are, help you reach your goals, and show you what you are capable of.

At the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois, we believe our entire community benefits when local nonprofits grow and succeed. Each organization serves in its own way, and every step forward expands the support, opportunities, and resources available to our neighbors.

LABOR DAY CLOSURE

The Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois is closed today, Monday, September 7, in honor of Labor Day.

First celebrated in 1882, Labor Day recognizes the social and economic achievements of American workers and their contributions to our communities and country.

Today, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers past and present. Have a safe and restful Labor Day!

WHAT IS CHILD WATCH?

Child Watch is a free benefit for members of the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois. Your children can enjoy up to two hours of supervised care while you use the facility.

Take time to:

* Go for a swim
* Work out in the lower level
* Take a FREE group fitness class(es)—included with your membership
* Enjoy a warm shower and a cup of coffee
* Read a good book without interruption
* Focus on your health and well-being

For your children, Child Watch is an opportunity to play, get active and spend time with children their own age. They can build connections with other children and caring adults, enjoy stories and activities, and have fun in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.

Child Watch gives you time for yourself while giving your children time to learn, play and connect. It is more than child care—it is a benefit for the whole family!
