Busy weekend coming for Freeport PAL BC.

Youth will compete Friday night at John’s Gym in the Bronx for the USA Boxing Metro Junior Olympic Finals.

Saturday Reese Mistretta 176b elite will compete in the Six Borough Championship’s defending his title. Always an exciting competitive event from Kristian Vasquez promotions.

164b Senior elite Miguel conducts the very important Friday night Plyo/Circuit course with Coach Pac being out for this month. These kids are committed.

Coach Joey Jr & Sal are in Brooklyn at Gleasons for the opening night for the USA Boxing Metro Junior Olympics.

143b Youth Samuel will have his first bout.

132b Youth Joel will get the walkover as his opponent withdrew.

Such a tremendous honor to introduce Freeport PAL BC’s very own Coach Larry Stanton into the New York State Boxing Hall Of Fame. Congrats Brother!

A legendary career indeed. A well deserved induction.

Having known Larry since im a youngster and having his service as an everyday volunteer Coach is priceless. You can’t replace authenticity. Long Island Strong.

Changing lives daily. Not to many gyms have Larry Stanton’s in them today.

So cool to see Larry’s family and the fellas from the gym enjoy the legends in the room.

A pleasure to be among some very dear friends for many years today. Both recipients and table guests. An honor to sit with Yuri Formans family.

Some great talks, wish I could talk to everyone, even the few looks and nods of peace brought me back to each person.

I have been a witness to such an awesome group of deserving boxing athletes for 30 years. So many veterans of the sport today and the future as well.

Congrats to all the Hall Of Famers. Waiting on some group photos. Pure classic. God Bless.
