Thank you Yonkers Knockouts for taking the trip during rush hour for the good work at the Freeport PAL BC.

Zyon “Baby Tyson” Dupree gets and gives some awesome rounds with Reese Mistretta. These multiple National Champs looked every bit of it.

Reese is on point in his preparation for his pro debut. Making attempts at specific things to familiarize us with all situations.

Young Zyon has a great future, definitely a Man child. I have witnessed his climb to that #1 spot at USA Boxing. Well done to the gang at YO KO. I look forward to watch Zyon move to the senior ranks. USA Boxing needs to keep an eye on this kid.

Zion Joseph 187b Novice would get in the mix with these experienced fellas. Such a learning curve for our Zion, along with all our Freeport kids training for the Metros.

Good work tonight also with the ProFit gym. Thanks Coach Tammy and your crew. Complete gentlemen with plenty of fire in the ring.

See all of you soon. God Bless.

Freeport PAL BC’s Miguel Payamps 154b elite was scheduled to compete in the Metro tournament today in the quarterfinals.

Unfortunately his opponent has the flu so Miguel will advance on the walkover.

So Miguel goes directly back to Friday night Circuit/Plyo course with the gang.

When the weather changes we are making cuts and getting our teams ready for the USA Boxing Metro Tournament, or what we call the Metros. Friday is the deadline.

Bravo to the Franchise holders of the Chicago Golden Gloves & NY Metropolitan for bringing back the historic inter city rivalry. Come out and support this awesome exciting event.

USA Boxing Metro Champion

NY Metro Ringmasters Champion

Two time USA Boxing National Summer festival Champion.

Multiple National contender earning top USA Boxing rankings.

International winner on a few
occasions.

Please send me a contact. Reese will sell well and has that working class heartbeat. He is very popular.

He comes from good stock. His Mom Desi was a USA Boxing Metro Champ, a NY Metro Golden Glove Champion (Ringmasters today) & a National Champion 26 years ago.

Desi repped the same gym. Consistency since day 1.

1992-present. If you know you know.

Not a birthday guy. Never was. Not against folks celebrating themselves.

Just my way. Today one of our Warriors has a birthday. He is loved like a Son, like most at the Freeport PAL BC.

This kid is one of us, like Patrick, Like Seanie, like all
those that grinded.

He was mentored by Patrick Day and nurtured by his Champion Mother Desi. A Mom that totally lives for her Son.

Happy Birthday Reese. He earned his stripes unlike some others. I love him like a Son and my Son loves him like a Brother.

This is who we are. Reese front and center after the Freeport PAL BC Circuit Plyo course. We give so Christ will see. Thanks be to God.

Mother & Son National Champions. 25 years apart.

Freeport PAL BC after 30 years continues the consistency.

We will not tolerate phony bolonies that associate themselves with frauds. That only care about themselves and never give back.

Tell your story walking. For us it’s all about the integrity and saving these youngsters from what can derail their lives. It’s God’s assignment for us.

Our program was built on a lot of leg work, negotiation, doing the things needed to get our space. Raising funds, paying insurance and quite frankly putting in daily volunteer hours that could have been hours earning money for our families.

Instead we find those that think they can piggy back on that commitment and think they are entitled to our hard work.

Having legit certifications, keeping the liability secure and making relationships with politicians and finding that help is a constant.

No freeos for the people that don’t do a thing to help that.

Thank you Village of Freeport for donating our space. This is not a town program. It is the Freeport Police Athletic League Boxing Club founded by yours truly.

Thank you Freeport Chamber of Commerce for naming this gym the Joe Higgins Boxing Gym and giving it solely to me and our loyal volunteers.

Peace and grace even to the haters that are embarrassing themselves. Continued pray for you. Go do what we did and start your own program.

FYI: It’s not easy and no one will just give you stuff. You have to be committed and earn it.
