With NYS turkey seasin ending today in a couple hours, I've been reflecting all morning on a season in which other obligations and priorities have kept me out of the woods more than I would have liked. And some of those available mornings I split time between turkey hunting and trout fishing. I spent most of my available time hunting with my dad this year, and dad was able to tag out on awesome longbeards, and I was able to capture those hunts on video. And when I left my father early yesterday morning to go to work after a few hours of hunting, dad said to me it may have been his best season ever, and how much he enjoyed calling birds in " the old fashioned way". I also got time to spend with an old friend that has had health issues slow him down considerably, and we had a great hunt last Monday, and almost killed a gobbler that gobbled his fool head off for us for hours. So to me personally I couldnt have asked for anything more satisfying for the season. Thanks to all the customers, and friends who support KMC, it's been a pleasure.
