Help support out local Challenger Leagues!

💙❤️ HELP US KEEP A VERY SPECIAL LITTLE LEAGUE TRADITION ALIVE! ⚾⭐
Some of our FTLL families may not be familiar with Freehold Challenger Baseball, but it is a very special part of the Little League family.
The Little League Challenger Division is an adaptive baseball program that gives children and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience Little League baseball—being part of a team, wearing the uniform, stepping onto the field and enjoying the game alongside their teammates, families and community. ❤️⚾
And for many years, our Freehold Challenger athletes have shared a pretty incredible tradition with Manalapan Challenger.
Each summer, before the Manalapan Senior League championship game at Shore town Ball Park, the Freehold Challenger and Manalapan Challenger teams would take the field for their own annual Challenger All-Star Game. ⭐
For these athletes, getting the opportunity to play on a professional baseball field, with their families and friends cheering from the stands, has made this much more than just another baseball game.
Unfortunately, that tradition was in danger of ending this year because Manalapan did not have enough Senior League players to field a team and therefore would not be renting the stadium.
We didn’t want to see that happen.
So Freehold and Manalapan Challenger are working together to bring the game back and give these athletes the All-Star experience they deserve!
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws have been incredibly supportive and have given us an opportunity to sell tickets to the BlueClaws game on Autism Awareness Night, Friday, August 28, with proceeds from our ticket fundraiser helping offset the cost of renting the stadium for the Challenger All-Star Game.

The Challenger program represents something we believe deeply in at Freehold Township Little League: there should be a place on the baseball field for every child who wants to play.
Let’s show our Challenger athletes just how big the FTLL community behind them really is. ⚾💙❤️

🚨 NO FRILLS FALL BALL & JR. UMPIRE REGISTRATION IS OPEN.

That’s it. That’s the important part.

We are here to tell you that Fall Ball registration moves to a waitlist on August 15. (That doesn't mean you won't get a spot, but once we begin forming teams, we can no longer guarantee placement!)

We are NOT here to tell you about our 7 District Championships. We are just telling you that Jr. Umpire registration opens August 1.

Now that we've gotten the important stuff out of the way...

We're definitely not going to mention that three of those teams won Sectional Championships. 🏆

We're obviously not going to bring up that our 10-year-olds are still playing for a State Championship. ⚾

And we're certainly not going to brag about our Juniors heading to the Little League World Series! 🌍✈️

This is just a totally routine, completely boring reminder to head over to FTLL.org, register for Fall Ball before August 15, and sign up to umpire starting August 1.

Come join us tonight and watch the Monmouth County Fire Works from our Fields. Snack Stand will he open for combo meals which include your choice of Cheeseburger/Hamburger, Hotdog or Chicken fingers, with a bottle of water and bag if chips.
