Middlesex is by far one of our favorite horse shows. This year was nothing short of wonderful victories for our riders. They all set out with personal goals, and although it’s never about the ribbon but putting good rounds on our horses no one came home empty handed.
First we had Emma aboard The Mighty Duc. This was their first debut in the 2’6” class. And although we are coming home with some homework they really performed. In a class with ten other competitive riders, they brought home two 6th places.
Next we had Melina aboard Shezablazinmachine in the beginner hunters. This is their first show season together and this combo keeps getting better and better. Another big class of ten and they brought home two 5th place ribbons and a 6th.
Last but certainly not least we had Sara aboard Captain Morgan in the 2’3” hunters. Sara went in feeling the most confident she ever has at a horse show. Out of 9 riders she brought home two 8th places, a 7th, and a 5th in the hack.
