The Gunners will take the field for the last time today as a team against FC Copa Black.
It's been so exciting and a great ride having watched this group of girls over the 2 past years. Seeing them get better, grow and challenge every team they faced. Thanks for the coaches Patrick Preston Kyle Patrick Yolinsky Michael Celano for teaching them the game and never taking an easy path with this team.
Often hearing...
PLAY FAST... PLAY BIG.... PLAY STRONG and they did.
The Gunners never played at a level below MOSA Premier (which they won twice) and EDP 2 (which they finished in 2nd). The girls traveled to the #4 team in the state and beat them in double OT with skill, heart and determination. They followed by hosting the #2 in the state, ultimately losing 1-0, but it took until the last 4 mins to give up that goal, but matched every attack and counter attack.
The Gunners finish as a team 59-21-10 and ranked #17 in the state... never backed down from the best. The Gunners are known around the state for their relentlessness and brand of soccer.

To the Gunner families, it's been an exciting 2 years and this is special group of girls - we will all look back and smile. Wishing all the girls much success along their soccer journeys.
To the Gunner coaches, thank you for your commitment and teaching the girls what it's like to play at a high level, more so, giving them the confidence and courage not be afraid and challenging them to be the best. Thank you !!!
