Freedom Baseball Club The Freedom Baseball Club is a nonprofit club trying to improve the experience of playing baseball in Freedom.

The club is currently raising funds to pay off the amazing, one of a kind grandstand on diamond 4.

Lastly we have Senior Corey Mathison.

Corey is a multi-year varsity player who has had multiple years of success at Freedom Baseball after coming back from an arm surgery.

This year in conference play Corey threw a team high 32 strikeouts with a team low ERA of 1.59. He also lead the Irish to two conference wins.

Corey earned the All Conference Second Team Pitcher award!

Senior Quinn Brennenstuhl

Quinn was a lockdown defender in centerfield his senior season and was producing quality at bats as the lead off hitter.

In conference play, Quinn hit a .333 batting average with 17 conference hits. He was completely error free in centerfield all season.

We will miss having the “Quinn’s got it” mentality every time a ball is hit to center next year. We wish him the best of luck at UW Madison!

Finally we get to our seniors…

Senior Carson Peters. Carson was 4 year varsity player. He was a constant in right field and when the opportunity was needed was on the mound for the Irish or on first base.

In conference play Carson had a .256 batting average with a team high 14 runs scored with 10 RBI’s.

We will miss your work in right field Carson and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Freedom Junior Ryan Heran

Ryan typically finds his home behind the plate as the Irish catcher. This year due to injuries of teammates he was given the opportunity to play some 3rd base along with a couple innings of pitching.

Ryan’s batting average in conference was .256 and was second on the team for putouts with 72 in conference play.

Congrats to Ryan for earning All Conference Honorable Mention - Catcher.

Next up our Sophomore Carlton Romitti

This is Carlton’s second year on Varsity and second all conference award.

Carlton’s main position continues to be 1st base while also seeing time behind the plate as catcher and a few times on the mound.

In conference play, Carlton lead the Irish with a .356 batting average. He had 16 hits and only 1 strikeout with 56 plate attempts. In the field, he lead the team with 74 putouts.

Our season may be over but for the next 6 days we will be recognizing our all conference players with some of their stats that got them the conference award.

Starting with the freshman - Eli Shepard

Eli Shepard’s main position was left field moving over to right when the situation was needed. Eli also pitched for the Irish.

In conference play Eli lead the team in hits with 18 - hitting a .333 batting average. Eli also lead the the team with 11 RBI’s in conference play.
