📍 Where is the festival held?

Big K**b Grange Fairgrounds
336 Grange Rd, Rochester PA

🗓 When is it?

April 18 & 19
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

💵 How much does it cost?

Adults: $16 • Kids (4–10): $11
Special Cash Pricing: Adults $15 • Kids $10

🥞 What’s included with the meal?

Adult Meal: Drink, 2 sausage links, unlimited pancakes
Kids Meal: Drink, 1 sausage link, unlimited pancakes
No sharing (babies/toddlers 3 & under excluded)
No take‑home bags
All‑you‑care‑to‑eat while seated in the steel building

🥣 What kinds of pancakes will be offered?

Buttermilk
Buckwheat
Gluten‑Free

🚗 Where do we park?

Multiple parking areas will be open.

🚌 Will there be shuttle service?

Good news!
We’ll have shuttle service both days of the Maple Syrup Festival from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Two 40‑ft buses will run continuous loops from Freedom Elementary.
Complimentary of Frye Transportation!

♿ Is there handicapped parking?

Yes — designated handicap parking will be available near the steel building.

🥓 Where is the sausage from?

This year, we’re proud to serve sausage from Beaver County’s own Milk House Meats!

🍁 Can I buy syrup to take home?

Yes — visit the Big K**b Grange booth!

🍬 Will maple cotton candy or kettle corn be available?

Yes! Find them at the end of the large concession stand.

🍔 I don’t like pancakes — are there other food options?

Yes! Freedom High School Soccer will be running a concession stand with additional food choices.

🎟 Do I have to pay to get in if I’m not eating pancakes?

No — entry to the grounds is free. Come enjoy the bands and vendors!

🛍 Will there be vendors?

Yes — over 60 vendors will be on site!

🐐 Will there be kids’ activities?

Absolutely!
Beaker and Friends petting zoo — $5 per child
Hidden Hill Horse Farm pony rides — $5 per rider
Kids play zone

💳 What forms of payment are accepted?

Pancake meals: Cash or credit (cash gets special pricing)
Vendors: Payment options vary by vendor

Only service animals are permitted.

Yes, ATMs will be available.

Yes.

Happy Youth Fishing Day, PA!

Trout season is right around the corner — but if you want to mentor a young angler, today is your day.

This Saturday, anglers age 15 and under can fish for free or with reduced-cost permits in stocked trout waters. It’s an opportunity for young anglers to learn fishing skills a week before crowds arrive for the statewide opening day of trout season and supports youth programs throughout the year.

Our Beaver County Sportsmen's Conservation League Youth Foundation has our annual Youth Fishing Derby coming up on Saturday May 2nd.
At this event we have a prize table for our Youth Anglers every year. We are looking for any donations for fishing derby prizes from individuals/clubs/groups.

We were able to give a lot of kids new fishing rods and tackle boxes last year 🎣

If you or your clubs/groups are interested in donating any fishing derby prize table items, or a monetary donation to contribute to buying those items, get ahold of me Amy Swartzlander [email protected] or 724-513-9349
And I can get them to our youth fishing derby chairman for this event.

We always appreciate all the support from our community to continue to have successful events for the kids 😊

Our Applications are officially available for our week-long Beaver County Sportsmen's Conservation Camp!

Dates: Week of 6/21/26 - 6/27/26
Drop off: Sunday 6/21/26
Pick up: Saturday 6/27/26
Location: Raccoon Creek State Park- Group Camp 2
Camper Age: 13 - 15
Counselor Age: 16 - 20
Cost: $250 - limited Scholarships are available so your child can attend for free! We always work hard to try and get campers a sponsor 😊

It's a can't miss kind of experience every year. Your child will learn and utilize important outdoor life skills, teamwork, and create friendships that they will remember for a lifetime!

Attention Pennsylvania hunters:

At its meeting next week, on Jan. 23-24, 2026, the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners will consider preliminary hunting seasons and bag limits for the 2026-27 license year.

The meeting will include two proposals for the Board to consider regarding the start of the fi****ms deer season.

The first proposal would open the fi****ms deer season on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

The second proposal would maintain the current season structure, with the fi****ms deer season opening on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
