Danza! directors have Advanced Degrees in DANCE And Professional Performance experience. We pride ourselves on offering Professional productions in real Theatre's. We have dancers who attend once a week for 45min or train 8 hours and chose extra performance opportunities. The number of hours doesn't dictate the quality of their dance education. The dancers commitment may be different but our standard isn't. All classes in all genres; the same detail, love and thoughtfulness for everyone! We LOVE what we do!! Join us for season #31 🩷🖤

Next up in our Teacher Feature; Stacey Gorka; Associate Teacher Tap
Miss Stacey began dancing at the age of 2 under the Direction of Kathie Christian. As a child she was a class demonstrator and participated in competitions and productions. As an adult she worked as a Dance Teacher before becoming a certified preschool teacher. She currently works at Fredonia Central School District. At Danza! Stacey teaches the combo level and adult tap classes; Miss Stacey also serves as backstage manager at our productions.
Miss Stacey has 2 children, Mia & Aidan.

Taylor Thompson Associate Teacher Hip Hop
Taylor attends SUNY Fredonia and is an Early Childhood Education Major. Taylor participates on both the performance and competitive FSU Dance Teams as well as Orchesis. Taylor studied dance for 15 years and participated in Danzaco Dance Company for 6 years. Taylor won several awards and titles and served as a class assistant. We are excited to have Taylor a part of our staff.

We're counting down the days until Season 31! Next up in our Staff intro is Mckenna Keraghen Taylor; Associate Director, Teacher & Choreographer
Mckenna graduated from the prestigious Point Park Conservatory with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a modern concentration. She attended PPU with the highest artistic achievement scholarship and was a dean list student. Mckenna performed works by Leewei Chao, Norbert De La Cruz, Marc Spaulding and many others. Mckenna studied all forms of dance at Danza! for 16 years, performing for 12 in our Danzaco Dance Company. She earned 9 National Titles out of 9 events, won over 15 crowns and numerous scholarships. Mckenna has participated in several invitation only pre-professional programs including 4 consecutive summers studying under the Directors of Alvin Ailey and Paul Taylor companies and at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City on scholarship. Mckenna is pursuing a professional dance career and has worked with some exciting choreographers while continuing to work with the Danza! family

Krista Taylor…
Artistic Director, Choreographer
Danza! Performing Arts Academy was established in 1996 by Fredonia native and former professional dancer Krista Giambrone Taylor. The studio is housed in the historic 7-9 East Main Street building in Fredonia. The studio has taught countless local students over the last 30 years and counting.
Krista began dancing at the age of two. She spent her early years studying all forms of dance, gymnastics, theatre and voice both competing and student teaching. Following graduation, she attended Ballet Conservatory and received a degree in Dance from SUNY Brockport.
Krista has professionally performed every dance style the studio offers, performing with several Ballet, Modern and Afro-Caribbean companies as well as working as a guest artist. Krista was a featured performer at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Disney, numerous production companies and the Florida based modern dance company Gaudere Danza. She has worked in commercials and industrials for MTV, Disney, Continental, Travel Agents International, Kodak, Visa and Busch Gardens. She has danced the U.S. coast to coast including Hawaii, Guam, California, New York and Florida. Krista spent several years as a featured performer, dance captain and company manger aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2, MS Asuka of Japan, MS Sagafjord and the Royal Viking Sun touring nearly 65 countries.
Krista has had the pleasure of operating Danza! Performing Arts Academy since 1996. She is the chief teacher and choreographer for the school and Director of their student dance Company Danzaco. Dancers are recipients of National awards, scholarships and have appeared onstage at Walt Disney World, Hershey Park and countless community and charitable events. Many have gone on to purse dance in higher education and are working professionals today. Her biggest accomplishment is watching dancers grow and leave with a love of dance.
Krista resides in Fredonia with her husband Mark, they have three young adult children Jackson, Kyra and Mckenna and dog Mom to Finn.
