Our final coach to recognize for the 2026 season is none other than Coach Sue Stone. Coach Stone has made a lasting impact on so many women, children, and the game as a whole throughout her outstanding career thus far. Here she is, continuing her passion for the game in a different place! Coach Stone created the Amazing Aces program originally as camp style learning, as it has grown, it has formed into the little league you see today. She is dripping in awards and recognition from the volleyball world, but I’m sure if you asked- her grandkids would be her true prize. We are all so grateful to this strong woman who continues to give her wisdom and love to the game with us all. Thank you, Coach, for everything you do.

“ Coach Sue Stone
I played 4 years of volleyball at Campbell Co High School located in Northern Ky. I was KHSAA Volleyball Official during my college years and played in various adult leagues and tournaments. Then, I was blessed to be asked to start the Caldwell Co HS Volleyball program in 2001. Over the following 14 seasons, I was fortunate to be part of 10 District Championships, 5 Region Championships, and 1 All "A" State Championship. Since 2001, I have been part of various youth leagues and camps for aspiring young volleyball players. I look forward to watching another group of young ladies learn about the game of volleyball and what it means to be a part of a team. I am most excited to be part of the Amazing ACES family where we show competition and Christ like behavior come together.”

Coach Stone will be heading up at 5/6 grade team this year, as well as helping in all the day to day running of our program! We all look forward to having her in the gym with us! 🩷

Our last two coaches to spotlight are also the directors of Amazing Aces Volleyball! They are the ones behind the scenes, planning and preparing for each growing season!

Coach Mac has been involved with Aces since it started, and brings her love for teaching young girls the fundamentals of the game!

“My name is Bayley McDonald, and volleyball has been apart of my life since I can remember. I had the pleasure of learning under Coach Stone for majority of my career- which brought many awards, but the most special being our 2010 Class A State Championship title. She assisted in my transition into coaching, and helped continue to grow my love for the game from the sidelines. I have coached both club and high school teams for many years now, and am currently the Head Coach at Crittenden County High school. My husband is my biggest supporter, and without him I wouldn’t be able to pursue this passion. My son is my right hand guy, and you will see him a lot in the gym with me. We are currently waiting the arrival of our first baby girl due in March, and I am personally excited to have Aces back in this season to help push me through that third trimester! Amazing Aces volleyball is SO special to me, and I am grateful for every season we have had. As we continue to grow, I see what a need this little league is to our community! Young athletes deserve to learn the game early and fall in love with it quick! I am grateful to see such a strong coaching staff this year, and it is looking like this season will be our best yet! Can’t wait to be back on the floor with this group! GO ACES!”

Coach Mac will be leading our other 7/8 grade team, and we can’t wait to see how much they learn together! 🩷

We are so grateful to all our coaching staff at Amazing Aces. It’s always extra special to recognize our coaches who have been with us from the start, and have continued to watch it grow! Our next coach brings so much energy to the gym, any player is lucky to be on her team! She is a TRUE original to this game in this area!

Coach Alyssa is so talented, and we can’t wait to see what she does this season!

“My name is Alyssa Granstaff. I have grown up in Caldwell County and have a huge passion for volleyball. I currently teach music at Caldwell Primary School. I am married and have 2 kids, Bradley and Aurora, who also attend Caldwell Schools. I also own FeyWild Flower Farm. This is my 3rd year coaching the Aces. I am one of the original players for the Lady Tigers Volleyball Team at CCHS. I was blessed to have been coached by Sue Stone for 3 years during high school. She taught our team that fundamental skills and the right mindset will get you far. Those are some of the same values that I hope these players will learn. I am excited for this season and to see these girls grow, change, and gain confidence in all their skills. I hope they will have fun and make the best memories!

Coach Alyssa will be leading one of our 3/4 grade teams this year, and I know it’s going to be great!

The second half of our coaching staff have been with us since we started the ACES program. We are blessed to have these women in the gym with us, and all the knowledge and love they bring with them. With busy lives and busy homes, it means to much to us that they still take more time out to be with us.

Our next coach is Coach Olivia!

“Hello, my name is Olivia Russell. I am 32 years old! I’m married to my high school sweetheart Daniel, who we share 3 kids- Hadley, Maggie and Gatlin. I have been around volleyball basically my whole life. A fun fact, my mom helped get volleyball started in Caldwell County. So I have been a gym rat until I could finally play little league in 3rd grade. I went on to continue playing all the way up through high school! My high school team accomplished some high achievements. In 2010 my senior year we won the Class A State tournament, where I was awarded the MVP honor. My senior class was a pretty special group of 7 ladies who were friends on and off the court for many years! I had plans to continue to play college ball but God had other plans. I’m so thankful I was blessed with two daughters who share the same love for this sport! I have ran leagues and coached for many years! I am so excited for this season! I love being able to teach and guide these girls about volleyball. Seeing how much they grow by end of season is such a rewarding feeling! A coach makes an impact for life and I pray God will use me for his light to shine through! I love the Amazing Aces program and blessed to be apart of it!”

Olivia means so much to all of us, and we are always happy to have her in the gym with us! She will be taking charge of one of our 7/8 grade teams this year, and we know they are in for a great season!

With a record number of teams this year, our staff has also become a record number! We are blessed to have enough young ladies coming in to help with each team!! Our next coach is known by many, and we are so glad to see her back in the gym- Coach Savanna!

“Hi! I’m Coach Savanna 💜
I am a proud mother to my sweet little boy, Tays! I love spending time with him and my husband, Dylan. I am one of the registered nurses at Caldwell County schools. I have spent multiple years playing and coaching volleyball! I graduated from Caldwell County where I played several years of volleyball there. I also enjoyed playing travel ball growing up! I’ve had the privilege to coach all levels of high school volleyball, some travel ball, and private lessons. Volleyball has brought me so much joy, both on and off the court. I’m so excited to watch each player grow and learn the game of volleyball this upcoming season! This will be a fun season💜”

After welcoming her first baby boy, she is BACK! We are so grateful for her, and know her team will shine with her leadership! Welcome back to the gym! She will be taking charge of one of our 3/4 grade teams!

“My name is Benashka Thomas, and I’m currently a freshman at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, where I’m pursuing a degree in nursing. I graduated from Caldwell County, where I played for five years and developed a strong love for the game. This is my first year coaching with Amazing Aces, and I’m extremely excited for the opportunity. I’m looking forward to growing as a coach, working with the players, and being part of such an amazing program.”

Our next coach to spotlight is Kylee White!

“My Name is Kylee White, and I am currently a senior at Caldwell County High School. I have played volleyball for nine years now, and have been apart of many successful teams! After graduation I plan to attend a military service academy, and pursue a career in the United States Military. This is my second season with the Amazing Aces program, and I am looking forward to sharing my love for the sport with some amazing young ladies! I can’t wait to get to know each one of my girls and be a role model for the type of person and athlete they should become! We’re going to make some great memories and have the best season!”

We’ve had Kylee with us since last season. She loves to win, and truly brings such a passion for the game with her! We love her grit, and look forward to seeing all the things to come for her! Kylee will be coaching another 3/4 grade team in our league!

We are so excited for the upcoming Amazing Aces season! We wanted to take some time to introduce our coaching staff for this year! This staff is full of talent, knowledge, and passion for the game! Your girls are truly in for a great season with this staff, and we are so grateful for them volunteering their time to this program!

First up, we have Coach Carly Porter.

“Hi, my name is Carly Porter and I am 18 years old and a freshman at Murray State University, where I’m pursuing a degree in Accounting and playing intramural volleyball. I graduated from Crittenden County High School, where I played volleyball for 6 years, along with 6 years of club volleyball. During my playing career, I was selected to the All-Region Team for three years and earned Regional Player of the Year my senior season, along with an All-State Honorable Mention. Volleyball has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a passion that I hope to now brings into coaching. This is my second year coaching the Amazing Aces, and I couldn’t be more excited for this group of girls and the season ahead. I can’t wait to help her players grow, compete, and make the best memories!”

What a turn out! 🙌

Amazing Aces will be made up of EIGHT teams this year including over 70 young girls ready to learn all about volleyball!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all of you who have trusted us with your athletes!

With that number, we had to do some more shuffling and adding of coaches! We have found a roster of coaches we are excited to have in the gym and proud to represent our league!

You should hear from your daughter’s coach this weekend with practice schedule! If you have not heard from anyone by MONDAY- please reach out. That means we do not have correct contact info!

We are looking forward to an AMAZING season of ACES! 🩷🏐
