First I want to apologize to my sponsors for not having you on the car this weekend. I promise we will be changing that very soon.

Recap from Doe Run Raceway 5/1

Heat: P1 ➡️ P3
Feature: P3 ➡️ P3

If you were at the races, it was a heck of a feature.

What you saw… there was some rough and tough moments with the 35 car. A collision in turn 4, turn 1 and a right rear was fed in turn 2. From there a lot of hard racing. The battle for 3rd made the race.

What you didn’t see. That 35 car, that’s one of Cams buddies. Right after the feature, both of them together. Looking at their cars, joking around, shaking hands and just being kids.

This is why we do it. All the long nights. All the money. All the stress.

Our kids are fierce competitors but the sportsmanship that is flowing out of these kids is unmatched.

I personally walked over and shook Mr. Beard’s hand. He’s a heck of a kid and an elbows up driver.

Both Cam and Mav were talking about how they were working together to make it back up to the front. You could see the love they have for the sport.

They say it takes a village to raise a kid. Well, I would say that we have the best village. Everyone at Doe Run Raceway, the Beard family, the Boyer’s, the Bridgeman’s, the Stanfill’s….the list goes on and on.

Night one of the Doe City Showdown I got my heat race win!!! Came home with a 5th place finish. Had a blast and can’t wait for this weekend!!!

Not a typical Friday night! I’ll be at Aptitude Internet Solutions for their 5th Annual Halloween Spooktacular!!

Come check out my car, get some candy, delicious chili and take a walk through the haunted house!! I’ve been every year, and it’s only gotten better!

Race recap Freedom of Speech Therapy Outlaw Winged Nationals

Friday night- ended up getting 4th in the feature with a fast track! Mid-race I came in contact with a rogue tire. Did you know that you can ramp a caged cart? Well, I did. Sorry Mom, didnt mean to give you a heart attack.

Saturday night- ended up getting 9th in the feature. Ended up having a few issues but I wouldn’t of been able to make it back out on the track without my dad and Brody.

I learned a lot this weekend and I had a blast! I always love getting to race and hang out with my friends at the track. Now is back to the shop to make some changes and fix the damages.
