Mark your calendars and register early for Saturday, November 15th as the President and Vice Presidents of the OIKKA — Grandmaster Chris Chase, Grandmaster John Devine, and Grandmaster Reese Rigby — unite for an unforgettable all-day training event in Smyrna, Delaware!

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from some of the most respected leaders in Isshinryu Karate and Kobudo. Their combined knowledge and experience is unparalleled, and they will be sharing it with YOU!

📍 Location: Delaware Bushido Academy – 139 Pier Head Blvd, Smyrna, DE 19977
⏰ Doors Open: 7:30am | Training: 8:00am – 5:00pm
🥗 1-Hour Lunch Break + plenty of time for rest, hydration, pictures, fellowship, and Q&A.

✅ Open to ALL students ages 10+, all belt levels welcome!
✅ Participants may come and go throughout the day.
✅ Special workshops also offered with some of the association’s top Masters!

Congratulations to all!! Way to represent the teachings of Grand Master Angi Uezu!! Our goal is always to represent his teachings with our greatest abilities!!! Well done!!

The OIKKA was well represented at the Isshinryu Hall of Fame tournament this past weekend in Gatlinburg TN. Congratulations to Mike Ogonowski, Philip Ebersole, Fredrick Thomas, Edward Rogers, Ryan Conway, Taylor Trasser, Joe Matuella, Adam Woodall and Angel Louie bringing home a collective 2 fourth places, 5 third places, 4 second places, 5 first places and a GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP!!! We are very proud 👊🏻

Registration is NOW OPEN!! Go to the Order of Isshin-Ryu website (oikarate.org) and register for the Grandmaster Cooling Memorial Tournament. The image below is the official t-shirt for this inaugural event, which can be ordered as well.

Early pricing ends July 15 so hurry and register ASAP! The website contains all the information you’ll need: waiver, registration, t-shirt order, host hotel link, divisions, tournament rules, etc.

This tournament is open to all Isshinryu Karate schools and practitioners. We look forward to seeing you there!
