Congratulations to all of our students who competed at Grappling Industries🥋 in San Antonio yesterday!
For several of them, this was their very first competition. This day wasn’t about bringing home medals or taking place—it was about gaining experience, stepping outside of their comfort zones, and having the courage to try.
To say we’re proud of these kids would be an understatement. They showed up, gave it everything they had, and most importantly… they didn’t quit.
Sure, there were a few tears, a few tough matches, and a few moments of frustration—but not once did any of them say they wanted to give up. They picked themselves up, learned from each match, and walked back onto those mats with courage. That’s what this journey is all about.
It was an awesome day watching this team come together and seeing the countless hours Coach Jay and Coach Zach pour into these kids. Their dedication goes far beyond teaching jiu-jitsu—they’re helping build confidence, resilience, discipline, and stronger young people.
Life isn’t always easy. Some days you don’t feel like showing up. Some days you have bad days. But champions aren’t made because everything goes perfectly—they’re made because they keep going anyway.
To all of our parents, thank you for trusting us with your children. Your support, encouragement, and commitment to this program mean everything to us. Without you, there wouldn’t be a team, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing community.
Coach Jay and Coach Zach—thank you for your endless patience, hard work, and dedication. Wrangling this crew isn’t always easy (sometimes they’re a little… feral 🤪), but you never stop believing in them, and it shows.
And of course… we had to keep up our tradition! 📸 First came the nice team photos… then came the goofy ones. 🤣 We were absolutely crying laughing at everyone’s expressions! Some of us clearly got the memo… while others stayed true to themselves. 😂
We’re so proud of every single one of you. Keep learning, keep growing, and most importantly… keep showing up.
