We’ve even added a set of tees for a greater variety of play. But don’t let its good looks fool you—challenges and surprises await around every dog leg. The front nine features rolling terrain, with plenty of up-and-down play. #4 is a masterful recreation of the famous Redan hole in Scotland. Golfers will need to carry bunkers guarding the green. #6 is a signature Par 3 that stretches 194 yards, p

art of it over Live Oak Creek. The back nine, while flatter, offers challenges of a different kind, including a wide array of bunkers. #14 is the last Par 5 on the course, stretching 616 yards from the back tees. Its double dogleg requires precise shot placement. #16 is considered our signature hole by many. Water will grab anything that comes up short, but you can bail out to the left. In short, you’ll find plenty to test your shot-making skills while enjoying the gorgeous Hill Country landscape.

Congratulations to Nick Meade (right) on a strong finish at tournament at The Creek Golf Course in Blanket, Texas, today. Nick shot 76 to finish tied for second in the 15-18 Boys, then came through in a one-hole playoff to secure runner-up honors.

Yesterday we kicked off summer with our first free Junior Golf Clinic, and the turnout was incredible. How many kids showed up? More than we could count. Seeing so many young golfers excited to learn the game is one of the highlights of our year. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a fun morning at the course. We’ll be sharing more photos soon, along with information about upcoming junior events. Stay tuned!

Next time you stop by the pro shop, make sure you say hello to Danika Ochoa. Danika is an upcoming senior at Fredericksburg High School and a member of the Battlin’ Billies girls basketball team that made it to the 4A-DII State Finals this year. Her favorite part about working at Lady Bird? The people. She loves getting to know our members and says everyone has made her feel welcome from day one. She also says no two shifts are ever the same, which is part of what makes the job so much fun. We’re glad to have her on the team. Be sure to say hello next time you’re at the course.

A hole-in-one is memorable. Doing it twice on the same hole is something else entirely. Congratulations to Donna Umhoefer on her second hole-in-one on No. 13 at Lady Bird Golf Course. Nearly a year after recording an ace on the hole, Donna made another hole-in-one on No. 13 during today’s Ladies Stableford tournament.
