Gun owners were handed a major court victory which *MAY* ultimately remove silencers, short barreled rifles & shotguns, and AOW's from NFA registration, which means they would transfer just as any other normal firearm.
However, the ruling is limited in it's scope. It does not apply nationwide nor even to all customers or all NFA items in states that are covered. Even two of the exact same silencers may require different paperwork depending on what distributor they each came from, or if the buyer has current memberships in certain organizations. In other words, it is currently as clear as mud.
Once we have clear guidance from the agencies that will prosecute us if we make any mistakes, we will move forward with operating under the new ruling. Hopefully that will be soon!
