FCS Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Sheila Shultz as our new Varsity Girls Tennis Coach. Coach Shultz has been an FCS employee for the past 4 years teaching PE at the Lower School and served as a parent ambassador for 2 years prior. Sheila and her family attend Stafford Crossing Community Church and are passionate about investing in the Fredericksburg Christian School community. Although she began playing tennis just over two years ago, she quickly fell in love with the sport. Learning the game as an adult has given her a unique perspective and prepared her to coach and encourage players at every skill level. Sheila recently competed in the Fredericksburg Country Club tennis league and can often be found enjoying pickup matches around the community. Building the FCS tennis program has become one of her greatest passions, and she considers it a true honor to coach these young ladies, helping them grow both as athletes and as individuals. Coach Schultz is committed to developing a program rooted in teamwork, perseverance, and faith, giving all glory to God for the opportunity to lead and serve. We are excited to have her lead our Tennis Program!
