True Fredericksburg 2029 went 4–0–1 last weekend and took home the Summer Celebration Tournament title.

All weekend they:
* defended hard

All‑Region Player of the Year. 🥍🔥

Huge congrats to Wilson (2026, midfield) from James Monroe • True Fredericksburg / DMV South 2026 on being named Region 4A Player of the Year.

This isn’t a “one hot game” award. It’s years of:
* getting to the middle over and over, not living on bad angles
* scoring with both hands – step‑downs, sweeps, on‑the‑run
* drawing slides and hitting the one‑more
* riding, causing turnovers, and doing all the stuff that doesn’t always show up on a highlight clip

He’s been a problem for every defense in the region, every night, and now the award matches the work.

If you’ve got a 2035–2028 who wants to build toward this level – real production + real impact – we’ll be working on the same skills (gold‑medal shooting, dodging to the middle, decision‑making) at our BluePrint Camp this summer.

Fast. Fun. Tons of touches. 🥍

We’re running the TRUE FXBG 4v4 Speed Lacrosse Series this summer and this reel shows you exactly what it looks like.

What it is:
* 4v4 on a 55x25 indoor turf field at Fredericksburg Field House
* No pads, small goals – just sticks and a soft ball
* Small‑sided games = way more passes, catches, and shots than a normal game

Why it matters (for beginners + experienced kids):
* Everyone plays offense AND defense → better IQ and vision
* Light contact like basketball/soccer → focus on skills and decision‑making, not big hits
* Smaller field + 4v4 = no hiding – every kid is constantly in the play

This summer we’re running the TRUE FREDERICKSBURG 4v4 Speed Lacrosse Series at Fredericksburg Field House – built for beginners and experienced players who want to get a LOT better, fast.

Why this is worth your time

* Way more reps than normal games
4v4 on a small field = constant passes, catches, dodges, and shots. No hiding in the corner.

* Better IQ for every position
No fixed spots – everyone plays offense AND defense, learns spacing, help, and decision-making.

* High tempo, low contact
No pads, no goalies. Fast, fun, competitive, but not spring-season level contact.

* Great for all levels
* Newer players: tons of low‑pressure touches to build confidence.
* Experienced players: game‑speed reps that sharpen reads and finishing.

First varsity goal for Chris (2029, midfield) in Mountain View’s first region playoff game. 🥍

Pulled up for postseason, and he made it count:
* defense gets a caused turnover
* Chris sprints upfield into open space as the easy outlet
* pushes transition with pace
* beats a bad approach from the defender
* and finishes from a gold medal spot for his first varsity goal

Perfect example of how a middie should play:
* run to space
* make yourself an outlet
* attack mistakes
* and finish from the middle, not the corner.
