Lucy joined PFP earlier this year with a goal of improving her explosiveness and endurance for soccer, and she has attacked that goal with a great attitude from day one.

Not only has Lucy worked hard in every session, but she has also embraced the positive atmosphere and encouragement that makes PFP special. Her dedication has paid off with noticeable improvements in both her endurance and confidence, helping her become a stronger athlete both physically and mentally.

Many of you know Karen, a PFP Warrior (and was a huge part of the PFP team for many years). You may also remember her son, Jake, who trained here as an athlete through high school and college.

In May of 2024, Karen and her family experienced the unimaginable loss of Jake when he died by su***de at just 22 years old. In response, they created the ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿณ ๐—™๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ to help start conversations about mental health, encourage people to ask for help, and remind others that they never have to face their struggles alone.

Throughout June, PFP is proud to support the Jake Baker 27 Fund through our annual fundraiser.

Consistency. Commitment. Hard work. Those three words describe Alex perfectly.

Alex has become a staple of the 5:30 PM Warrior Team Training Strength class, consistently showing up and putting in the work week after week. No matter what's on the schedule, he brings a positive attitude and a willingness to challenge himself.

In addition to his strength training, Alex has been focused on increasing his running distance and building his endurance. That hard work recently paid off when he completed the Frederick Half Marathonโ€”an incredible accomplishment and a testament to his dedication. ๐Ÿƒโ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

What's even more impressive is that Alex is approaching an incredible milestone: 500 workouts at PFP! ๐Ÿ‘

Whether he's lifting in class, logging miles on the road, or chasing his next goal, Alex continues to prove that consistent effort over time leads to amazing results.

Joseph has been a part of the PFP family for almost a year, and it's been awesome watching him grow stronger and more confident along the way.

While he doesn't play a specific sport, Joseph understands the value of staying active, building strength, and challenging himself. He consistently shows up ready to work and continues to make progress with each session.

One of the things that stands out most about Joseph is how welcoming he is. He's never shy about introducing himself, starting conversations, and getting to know the other athletes in his group. His positive attitude and willingness to connect with others help make PFP a better place for everyone around him.

Outside of the gym, Joseph enjoys cooking, playing video games, and listening to music.
