Playmakers

Playmakers Playmakers is an AAU basketball organization for boys and girls ages 7-18 based in the metro-DC area. www.playmakersbball.org

Our teams play in local, regional, and national AAU-sanctioned events, as well as other premier basketball leagues and tournaments throughout the United States. We provide an atmosphere for youth to develop into great basketball players and outstanding citizens. 
The focus of our program is, first and foremost, player development. Our objectives are to endorse and support competitive basketball

teams, develop and improve players’ skills, and cultivate a positive environment of sportsmanship and teamwork. Participating players are required to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, because the importance of working hard in the classroom should never be overlooked. Off the court, we are committed to serving our community by volunteering with various service organizations throughout the DMV in order to emphasize that giving is as important as getting.

In our Frederick Region, we are opening tryouts for 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U Boys in the 5th-8th grades.

Tryout will be held Sunday, February 9th from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Walkersville Rec Center (Walkersville Elementary School), 83 Frederick St., Walkersville, MD 21793.

You must be registered through LOUYAA to tryout. (no fee will be charged to tryout). Visit louyaasports.org for more information under Sport Programs-Spring-AAU Basketball.
