Made a road trip today up to Greenbush, Mn to see a good friend and his family. This was a iconic brand that Troy Foss started know as Outdoor Getaway as of the past few years. Troy and his crew built many fishhouses throughout the years and is no longer building them due to unfortunate events. Many people dont know this, not even Troy as this is where my passion for building fishhouses started, my last fishhouse I bought was a Big Bite. Since Troy was not building anymore, I started because if I couldn't get one of his, I was building my own. That's the short version of the story where The Shak Fishhouses came to life. If you have ever talked with Troy he references fishhouses as "shacks" the rest is history. I have alot to be greatfull for and Troy and Jess are no exception.
