Fraser Pickleball Club

Fraser Pickleball Club Family Friendly - Any Skill Level - All Ages

Anyone is free to drop-in on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to meet other players and play a game.

Volunteers are usually available to help provide brief instruction of the rules to get new players started. During the summer of 2024, Fraser Parks and Recreation Coordinator Chris Delmege and volunteer instructor Marty Long conceived the idea to host a summer long learn-to-play Pickleball program. Through the success of the program, upwards of 30 players attended the weekly drop-in sessions, and

learned how to play Pickleball. To continue the momentum of Pickleball at Steffens Park, a group of Fraser residents formed the Fraser Pickleball Club as a way to help facilitate meetups, and organize volunteers willing to teach others how to play.

Thank you to DPW for taking a look at the lighting system for Steffens courts.

Adjustments were made to the lighting system to better accommodate when it is needed after sunset. Once the system has been turned on (automatically), use the timer to activate the lights.

The lighting system will shut off at 9:30pm and the timer will not work.

Still time to start playing Pickleball while the weather is nice outside. Drop by tomorrow for the community meetup.
