This weekend, our skaters take the ice for Shred the Ice 2026! Join us for three exciting shows set to songs by the legends we all know and love. Skaters of all ages will bring to the ice the skills, confidence, and artistry they’ve developed through countless hours of practice. They’ve been guided by coaches who invest in them with skill, dedication, and genuine care. Together, our skaters, coaches, and families have poured their hearts into creating an unforgettable performance that we can’t wait to share with you.

Tuesday extra tips and tricks.

To ensure everything goes smoothly, we’ve gathered some important information for you.

🔅 Please be sure to arrive early! Make sure your skaters have their skates on if they cannot tie their own skates.🔅

Ice Show Make-Up Tips: To help your skaters shine on ice, we've found some fantastic resources on show make-up.

To start, us me explain WHY your child needs show make-up.

Professional lights are very bright. Because of this, skaters appear very washed out and pale. Facial features are lost and expression is hard to see.
Our costumes are over the top! They sparkle, shine, and can easily overpower your child’s sweet face. We want to make sure their beautiful smiles are seen. This requires bright lipstick (among other things!)
The ice surface is huge — not to mention quite far from the audience. This is another reason we need to enhance your child’s features.

Hair Styles: Don’t forget to review the hair styles listed in your parent information packet. Having the right look is just as important as the performance itself!

Rehearsal Reminder: We’re looking forward to our show rehearsal 2 on Wednesday. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to get comfortable with the lights and props, work out any kinks, and prepare for the big show!
