Health Update! Well I have a new hip!! When tissue samples were taken during surgery there were some samples that concerned my doctor, so I’ll be on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks and then oral antibiotics for a year. I am still non weight bearing on my left leg for 6 weeks due to some bone damage from the spacers. I’m feeling good, not a ton of pain and ready to be dancing soon!! Thank you all for sending me love and prayers through this journey. I could not have made it without out my friends and family! ❤️😘😆🥰

Health update!! I need a couple of test done and I have a new hip surgery date!!! May 29th!!! As long as I’m infection free I’m going to get a new healthy hip!! I’ll be dancing soon!! I’m finally doing a little cooking!

Health update!! Good News! Good News!! I had my blood tested after being off antibiotics for two weeks and the results came back awesome!! My white blood cells have gone down and are in the “normal” range and my hemoglobin is above 10!! So now I see the orthopedic doctor on April 25th and if he gives me the thumbs up I will be able to schedule my final hip surgery!! I’ll be dancing soon enough! Thank you for all your positive thoughts and prayers they are working!! Please keep all the good vibes coming!

Health update: I needed a couple of days to digest the blood results. Originally I was prescribed 6 weeks of antibiotics. The lab takes a sample of my blood weekly. My numbers are getting better but not at the point where I can go off the antibiotics. As of now I am adding 2 weeks to antibiotics treatment and then 8 weeks off all antibiotics then if the infection is gone I will receive a new hip!! Please keep sending love and light! If you are able to donate that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for coming along on my journey. 🥰❤️😘

Weekly update! I went to the infectious disease doctor on Monday and my blood work is improving just not at the rate it should be for a 6 week round of antibiotics. The doctor suggested that I stay on the daily antibiotics for 1-2 additional weeks. My body has gone through a lot and I am ready for this infection to go away!

Health update: today starts the 4th week out of 6 weeks of antibiotics. I’m getting stronger and stronger everyday. I still only have weight on my right leg, so with that being said I still use a walker and a wheelchair. I need assistance in everyday things like taking a shower, going to the bathroom, combing my hair, Mark Diggins gives me all my medicine. I want to thank all my friends and neighbors for helping me with cleaning up the house, meal prepping, helping with horse chores. After my 6 weeks of antibiotics I have to wait 2-4 weeks then surgery at that point the orthopedic surgeon will determine if the infection is completely gone and put in the permanent hip or I will have to start all over again with the 6 weeks of antibiotics.

Please keep me in your prayers. I hate to asked because everyone has been so generous, but if you would be willing to send over food, help with chores and donate to help keep up on bills that would be greatly appreciated. ❤️
