The forecast called for rain.

The kids called it swimming weather. 🏊‍♀️

Even with a few showers this weekend, Millview was full of laughter, sunshine, and families making memories.

Years from now, someone will remember, “That time we swam in the rain at Millview.”

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As families gather for cookouts, time together, pool days, and the unofficial start of summer, we’re reminded that the freedoms and everyday moments we enjoy are possible because of their sacrifice.

From all of us at Millview Swim Club, thank you to all who have served, and especially to those who gave everything.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Opening Day ended in a draw.

Rain 1.
Millview 1.

The storms won the morning.
Millview won the afternoon.

Families were back at the pool, kids were swimming again, and Summer 2026 is officially underway.

And if you’ve lived in Tennessee long enough, you already know the real heat is still coming.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped get Millview ready for another summer. Volunteers, lifeguards, families, board members, and supporters all helped make today possible.

The dog days of summer are right around the corner. Hot afternoons, cool water, shaded chairs, and long pool days are almost here.

Summer’s getting close. We can feel it.

Good progress was made Saturday… but the pool still stubbornly refuses to open itself. ☀️

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped pressure wash, paint, clean, and prep Millview for summer. We still have a few projects left before opening day, and even 30 minutes of help makes a difference.

Behind every great pool day was a mom carrying towels, packing snacks, applying sunscreen, finding goggles, reminding everyone to hydrate, and somehow still hearing “Mom, watch this!” every 90 seconds.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms in the Millview community. Thank you for helping create the memories that last long after summer ends. ☀️💙

This is it — the final weekend of the season. The pool is open and the weather is cooperating. Perfect chance to swim, float, or just relax poolside.

Big thanks to our members, lifeguards, and volunteers for making this summer one to remember.

🎄TONIGHT - Christmas in July is HERE, Millview! 🌴

Hey Millview Members,
Don’t forget — tonight’s the night for our Christmas in July Swim Party!

We’re mixing two of our favorite things: hot summer nights and cool Christmas vibes. Whether you’re doing snow angels in the shallow end or just soaking in the holiday spirit, there’s something magical in the air.

Here’s what’s under the tree (and pool umbrellas!) tonight:

🎬 Christmas Movie Swim… (let’s just say, “I just like to smile. Smiling’s my favorite.” 😉)

Throw on your favorite red-and-green, a Santa hat with your flip flops, or maybe even a Hawaiian shirt, and help us make it a mele kaliki-splash to remember!
