Summer isn’t over at Millview!

Labor Day traditionally marks the end of pool season, but with some of the hottest weather of the summer still here, we’d like to keep going!
After Labor Day, we plan to stay open.

🏊 Weekdays: 4–7 PM
☀️ Weekends through September

The catch? We need volunteers to make it happen.

We primarily need members willing to help open and close the pool each day. It’s a simple process, doesn’t take long, and with enough people helping, we can spread the responsibility around.

If you can help, please respond to our email or reach out to us.

We’re also beginning to plan for next summer, including other volunteer opportunities and available Millview Board roles for next season.

While many pools are wrapping up for the year, we’re hoping to squeeze a little more summer out of ours.

We could still use a bit more help at Millview.

Two refrigerators and a stove were ruined in last weekend’s flood and need to be hauled off.

If you have a truck or trailer and can take them for disposal or scrap this weekend, we’d greatly appreciate it. Pickup can happen anytime.

Millview needs your help.

Yesterday’s storms flooded the clubhouse twice. The evening flooding was severe, with water reaching roughly 3 feet deep, essentially turning the clubhouse into another shallow end of the big pool.

Board members worked last night to remove water and mud, but there’s still a lot to do.

No signup. No scheduled workday. If you have 20 minutes or a couple of hours, please stop by and help clean up. The clubhouse is open.

This is a member-managed pool, and right now, we need our community.

The forecast called for rain.

The kids called it swimming weather. 🏊‍♀️

Even with a few showers this weekend, Millview was full of laughter, sunshine, and families making memories.

Years from now, someone will remember, “That time we swam in the rain at Millview.”

If you’re still thinking about joining, we’ve purchased additional pool keys and memberships are still available.

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As families gather for cookouts, time together, pool days, and the unofficial start of summer, we’re reminded that the freedoms and everyday moments we enjoy are possible because of their sacrifice.

From all of us at Millview Swim Club, thank you to all who have served, and especially to those who gave everything.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Opening Day ended in a draw.

The storms won the morning.
Millview won the afternoon.

Families were back at the pool, kids were swimming again, and Summer 2026 is officially underway.

And if you’ve lived in Tennessee long enough, you already know the real heat is still coming.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped get Millview ready for another summer. Volunteers, lifeguards, families, board members, and supporters all helped make today possible.
