A recent athlete who went through the program was blown away by the results.

Her main take-away? Instead of thinking that her ankles are going to give out or are weak, she now has confidence and feels so much stronger. It has helped increase her vertical and made her more agile.

This was just an additional benefit of everything else she worked on and achieved during the Volleyball Accelerator. Our next session will be starting on September 10th so sign your daughter up today!

At HerTime we are in the business of transformation.

Whether it is on the court or in the weight room. Whether it is physical or mental.
Whether it is with yourself or others.

We don't want to just treat a symptom or give you a quick fix.

For young athletes, we help you feel strong and confident. We give you a place to lower your walls and be yourself unapologetically.

For women, we get you back to yourself. We help your body and mind remember who it is. We laugh, and play, and have fun again while we navigate new chapters in our life both physically, mentally and with the relationships at home.

HerTime is here to empower and help. What you see is what you get. And in the age of AI, I think that is very refreshing. Come find your people.... your home.

This is for parents, coaches, PT, medical field. Really anyone who has asked someone "On a scale of 1 - 10, how much does it hurt?"

Men and women will use a different reference of comparison.

Men will compare it to any pain they have experienced in the past. Women will compare it to pain they could potential suffer in the future.

So it could be the same level of pain but men will rate it a 9 because it was the worst they ever felt. And women would give it a 6 because there is worse pain they could be enduring.

So if you are working with female athletes and they are hurt, asking them to rate their pain might not be the right approach. Ask them what it feels like. Does it burn, radiate, ache? How is it restricting their movement? You will get more helpful answers that way.

I did an experiment and it worked.

A recent athlete went thru our 4 week Volleyball Accelerator program and gained 6 inches in her standing vertical.

She worked hard and was consistent and she saw real results. But we were also able to help her understand her body better, trust it, have more confidence and it really showed in the results.

If you would like to join us, the next sessions start in less than 2 weeks!

I knew I needed to do something, but it was hard.

I wasn't happy with my physical fitness.

I was having a hard time admitting that I was no longer the same athlete I was in my 20s and 30s.

And I didn't want people to see me struggle.

But then I remembered, I can do hard things. And the funny thing is, I usually imagine it is harder than it really is.

So, I put one foot in front of the other. I was as consistent as possible and got better every week.

I went from barely being able to jump two inches off the ground to now being able to jump on a 12 inch box.

I know what it's like to want something but not know where to start. I can help you get started and we do it in a space designed specifically for women.

We just finished our first Volleyball Accelerator session and it was an amazing success.

For the standing vertical in particular, she made amazing progress with a gain of 6 inches. Some of the results were due to the jumping drills and weight training. But, she also said that her ankles felt so much stronger and she had the confidence to really push herself to go for it.

At HerTime Training Center, we don't just train the body. We train mindset and confidence as well.

If you want to see if your daughter can get the same results, our next Accelerator starts on September and will be a six week session.

Imagine your daughter hitting the court for club season physically ready for the demands of the court. She will start the season jumping higher and having the stamina to handle those four day tournaments. She will start ahead of the game instead of behind.

Key to being strong in perimenopause

Lift heavy weights 2-4 times a week. This means two sets of 8 where the last rep feels very hard.

No super strenuous work outs multiple times a week. Only one HIIT class a week ladies.

Keep waking. Avoid brisk 45-60 minute walk every day.

Seems simple, but life can get in the way. Want accountability? Join us at HerTime where our workouts are designed specifically for you.

Women and Body Image

One of our goals at HerTime is to change the conversation about body image. At the gym we talk about how to get strong. How to be healthy. What fuels the body. How to listen to your body.

We are all unique and have our own beautiful body. Instead of shaming it to fit some weird ideal, let's learn to love it and listen to it. Your body is so strong and wise. We need to treat it like the gift it is.
