Our Bulldogs had a great weekend, with a few leagues ending their season. Here's the recap:
⚾️ Congratulations to the 10U Bulldogs on a fantastic season!
Last year, this group competed at the AA level and this year they made the jump to Majors. Not only did they rise to the challenge, but they were competitive in every game—even against some elite teams.
That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. These boys put in the work, showed up ready to compete, battled through adversity, and celebrated each other’s successes along the way.
This is an amazing group of young men with a tremendous future ahead of them.
Congratulations, boys — you have come a long way, and we can’t wait to continue watching your growth!
🐾 Bulldogs 11U wrapped up their season with a playoff run that perfectly reflected this team’s resilience and growth.💪
After battling back from a late deficit against Bay State Braves, the Bulldogs capped an incredible comeback with Trevor Chadwick’s first home run of the season, a walk-off grand slam that punched their ticket to the next round. The boys played outstanding defense all day and continued to show the grit & determination they’ve developed throughout the season.
Franklin’s playoff run ultimately came to an end against a talented #2-seeded Sluggers team, but advancing in dramatic fashion was a fitting way to close out a year filled with growth, friendships, and memorable moments. Great season, Bulldogs! 🐾
⚾️ Bulldogs 12U hosted the Gold Bracket West Region this past weekend. After a tough first game, they lost to the BAA Hammerheads. The Bulldogs came alive in game two with Logan Florest having a walk off two RBI double against Mass Captains and strong pitching from Ryder Chelotti and Kevin Mead
The Bulldogs pulled out a nail bitter on Sunday over the NorEasters. Things got off to a great start when Max D and Kevin Mead started things off with home runs. The boys won 4-3 behind strong pitching by Kevin Mead and Max Davidson!
The Bulldogs finished in a 3-way tie in their bracket at 2-1, but didn’t move on because of runs against.
Boys finish their spring season at 19-9, including a Top 4 seed in PG. Ma Majors Gold, a runner up in Mid May Classic and a rain shortened Co Champs at 12U Firecracker Memorial Day. The boys played hard all spring putting up 34 home runs this season. They will take a couple months off for FYBO Summer All Stars, before they finish their season at Top Gun tournament @ Shipyard in South Carolina in July. Incredible season for a one town team!
