Jim Frost Memorial Spring Tournament silver bracket champions🖤🩶🤍

The girls struggled at the plate a little in yesterday’s pool play, going 1-1-1. That dropped them to the silver bracket, but they came out hot today and finished the tournament 5-1-1. The bats were better, they made huge plays all day, and they never quit fighting for each other! It was a beautiful weekend of softball in Chattanooga, and it was good to walk away with some hardware.

There’s still work to do, girls…let’s get back at it this week!

These girls battled this weekend at the USSSA Queen of Kentucky tournament in Campbellsville, Ky! Even when the deck was stacked against them, they had each other’s backs, made huge defensive plays, had big hits, laid down gorgeous bunts and pitched lights out.

Down 5-1 in the if game? No problem.

Still down 5-3 with time expired going into the bottom of the last inning of the if game ? Still no problem.

They got it done. The defense held when it had to. The international tie breaker scored on a gorgeous bunt. They brought home 1st place hardware.

This tournament was about way more than the rings they brought home. They grew as a team. They grew as players. And they grew as good human beings learning to face adversity.

Keep working girls! The sky is the limit🖤🩶🤍
