I'm Melissa and the owner and operator of Franklin Kayak. I've always loved the outdoors and kayaking has been my favorite way to spend time outside. My interest in kayaks began in 2017 when I lived in Seattle. I would rent a kayak by myself on the Puget Sound and get away from the city. In the middle of the water I was able to find tranquility among the chaos. I didn't have a truck to transport i

t, so I wasn't able to use it as often as I wanted to. In 2023 I decided to purchase a truck and a few more kayaks to fulfill the dream of being on the water every day. I started Franklin Kayak because I want to give people an easy, convenient option to get out on the river and kayak without the hassle. I'm excited for this opportunity to meet more people who have a love for kayaking. Whether it's your first time or you're an active kayaker, I hope to provide you with a memorable experience!
