✨🚜 It's the May 2026 Construction Update of the New Franklin High School 🚜✨
🎯 It was a memorable month in the construction process as the last steel beam was placed during a "Topping Off" Ceremony on May 20th. The 3-Story Classroom building continues to take shape along with the cafeteria and gymnasium. The asphalt for the 8-lane track was laid with the rubberized surface being placed later this month.

📆 Last Night (05/28/26) Franklin High had their Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts. 🏆
🎉 Congratulations to all the winners and especially the Seniors who will graduate next Friday!
✨ This puts a bow on the sports year and lets us reminisce on what was a memorable year in Panther Sports!

🎯 Its a Final in Lexington, NC. Unfortunately the North Davidson Lady Knights end the Lady Panthers season for the 2nd consecutive year.
✨ It was another exciting and successful season on the softball diamond with lots of memories and records set! Thank you for following along on FPSN all year!

🥎 It's PLAYOFF SOFTBALL TONIGHT! 🥎
📆 The Lady Panthers host the Erwin Lady Warriors in the 2nd Round of the 5A State Playoffs at the Penland Sports Complex' Softball Field.
🎯 The Lady Warriors won in the 1st Round Tuesday over Forestview and the Lady Panthers had a BYE in 1st Round.

✨🚜 It's the April 2026 Construction Update of the New Franklin High School 🚜✨
🎯 Maybe the most visually transformative month so far in the construction process as most of the steel work for the 3-Story Classroom Buildings was completed and the field turf was installed. We also get our first look at the gymnasium with its roof and walking track be constructed.

⚾ It's PLAYOFF BASEBALL TONIGHT! ⚾
📆 Franklin hosts the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs at McConnell Field in the 1st Round of the 5A State Playoffs. The Panthers are 11-10 overall and picked up a #11 Seed in the West. The Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs are 6-18 overall and received a #22 Seed in the West.
🎯 It's the First Time in 7 years that Franklin has hosted a Playoff Baseball game.
