📣What soundtrack is running through your head these days?📣
You know, those little sayings, that can carry a huge impact on our minds and actions! 😉
The soundtracks in our minds can sound negative(like maybe one we are carrying from childhood) or sound positive that's helping you take baby steps in your health journey!
My recently has said,
"WORK ON GETTING 1% BETTER THAN LAST WEEK!"
Areas where I am finding myself needing this gentle encouragement are...
💗workouts and dealing with a hip issue and rebuilding strength, which means dialing back the amount of weight I lift sometimes
💗Nutrition and practicing making time to eat more frequently in the day to better support my blood sugar levels, and TAKE TIME to have food on hand that fuels my body.
💗Mental Health and trying to flip the script in my mind that health/fitness focus in life, will serve me better, by focusing on staying STRONG, eating to fuel my body, and taking care of my body outside of the gym(stress/sleep/self-care). INSTEAD of chasing "skinny" (I will be honest-this is a hard one. So if you're struggling with this one too, you aren't alone ;))
