I'll be playing 72 holes of golf on September 24th to raise money for The First Tee of Indiana. Proceeds go to this youth development program that helps kids grow into better adults using the core values and life skills the game of golf teaches us. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has attended Gongaware Junior Golf Academy camps over the years, donated to the Indiana Golf Foundation in support of the academy, and who have liked and followed our page. Your support has been greatly appreciated. As most of you know Gongaware Junior Golf Academy is no longer in operation, and therefore will not be hosting any future golf camps. As the game of golf evolves, so must we. Yes, we're very sad to see the Gongaware Junior Golf Academy cease its operation, but we're excited that The First Tee of Indiana will continue to grow and expand, reaching thousands of youth around our great state.

We wish to thank all of the junior golfers who attended camps, as well as their parents and family members for all their support throughout the years. The friendships established, golf skills improved, fun times, and memories made will last a life time. Thank you! And always remember......"Do Your Best Everyday."

13 years. 13 years I've spent my summers at Gongaware. 13 summers I've met some amazing people and watch kids grow in the game of golf.
Each camp, we hand out our Club Car Sportsmanship award, the highest, most honorable award we give out. The people who own this award are the best of the best. They love the game of golf and inspire others to love it too. When I was younger, as the Academy Directors' daughter, I was never able to win it as a camper because my dad didn't want others to think that I was the favorite. However, that all changed yesterday. At 23 years old, after attending over 20+ camps over the last 13 years, I was awarded the Club Car Sportsmanship award. My co-workers joked all week about it but I can now officially say my golf career has come to an end.
Thank you Gongaware for the memories and friendships what will last a lifetime. You have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am honored to be a part of a special family, forever and always. ~ Paige
