What a memorable day for a group of Chattanooga-area junior golfers who were special guests of the Tennessee Golf Foundation during the opening round of the U.S. Women’s Amateur at The Honors Course.
These young ladies had the opportunity to watch some of the best female amateur golfers in the world up close, including Tennessee native Rachel Heck, a two-time U.S. Women’s Amateur semifinalist.
The experience didn’t end when play wrapped up. Thanks to the generosity of The Honors Course and the Tennessee Golf Foundation, the girls capped off an unforgettable day with an overnight stay in one of the on-site cabins, creating memories they’ll cherish for years to come.
This was just the beginning. Throughout the week, the Tennessee Golf Foundation will welcome a new group of junior golfers each day, giving even more young players the chance to experience the U.S. Women’s Amateur up close, be inspired by the game’s best, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
