✅️ Williamson County Schools is working with the Williamson County Election Commission to ensure seniors have the opportunity to exercise one of the most important American freedoms: voting.

Students who will be 18 years old on or before Election Day, November 3, may register during their school's voter registration drive. Students must bring a valid photo ID when participating.

“Registering to vote is an important step toward becoming an active and engaged member of our community,” said WCS Social Studies Curriculum Specialist Ashley Flood. “I can't think of a better way to celebrate America 250 than by encouraging our students to exercise the freedoms that make our democracy possible.”

Voter registration opportunities will be available at each high school on the following dates:

▪️Brentwood High – Wednesday, September 16, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
▪️Centennial High – Wednesday, September 16, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
▪️Fairview High – Tuesday, September 15, from 11:10 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
▪️Franklin High – Wednesday, September 23, from 12:08 p.m. to 1:01 p.m.
▪️Independence High – Tuesday, September 15, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
▪️Nolensville High – Tuesday, September 15, from 11:44 a.m. to 1 p.m.
▪️Page High – Wednesday, September 16, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
▪️Ravenwood High – Thursday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
▪️Renaissance High – Thursday, September 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Good luck to our band this weekend!!

🎷 The 29th Annual Williamson County Marching Band Exhibition will begin Saturday, September 12 with a patriotic performance to celebrate America 250.

This year's event, which will be held at Page High, will get underway at 6:45 p.m. with a unique tribute to our nation's 250th anniversary featuring all nine Williamson County high school marching bands. Then, starting at 7 p.m., the bands will take turns as they perform portions of their show for the audience.
