2026 Season Tryouts – Monday & Tuesday ( long post)
Monday and Tuesday will mark our 2026 season tryouts. We are incredibly proud of every athlete who has chosen to step onto the field and compete for a spot.
To help ensure the process runs smoothly and respectfully for everyone, we ask that all parents please remain in their vehicles during both tryout days. We kindly request that no one sit in the right field bleachers, the bleachers behind home plate, or walk around the field premises during this time.
Parents, please plan to arrive at the field by 4:45 PM to pick up your daughter. We will begin dismissal at that time. The girls have been instructed not to open their letters until they are inside your vehicle.
Monday will consist of first cuts, and Tuesday will be final cuts.
If your daughter receives the outcome she hoped for, we share in your excitement and joy. However, we respectfully ask that you wait 24 hours before posting any announcements on social media.
If you are disappointed with your daughter’s status, we understand how emotional that can be. We ask that you allow 24 hours before reaching out to a coach. This pause gives everyone the opportunity to process emotions thoughtfully and respectfully.
We also kindly ask that families refrain from any negative social media posts or comments regarding coaches, the team, or any of the athletes who attended tryouts. Please remember that our coaches are not only leaders on the field — they are mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, teachers, and friends within this community. They care deeply and carry the weight of these decisions with heavy hearts.
There are many talented young women and only a limited number of roster spots. While we would love to keep every single athlete, that simply is not possible. These decisions are never easy. Tryouts are challenging for the girls, and they are equally difficult for the coaches making these choices.
Message to Our Athletes—
As we wrap up tryouts, we want to speak directly to each of you.
We know emotions will be high : excitement, disappointment, pride, and frustration are all very real and very valid feelings. However, we ask that you handle yourselves with maturity, kindness, and respect once you return to school.
Please refrain from discussing who made the team and who did not. Conversations like that, even when not intended to be hurtful, can deeply impact someone else. Everyone who tried out showed courage by stepping onto the field, and that deserves respect.
There should be absolutely no negative comments, gossip, or comparisons made about any athlete, whether in person, in group chats, or on social media. Words carry weight, and what may seem small to one person can be very heavy to another.
We expect you to represent this program with character. That means supporting one another, showing empathy, and choosing kindness even when emotions are strong.
True athletes demonstrate integrity not just in competition, but in how they treat others.
Be proud of your effort. Be gracious in both success and disappointment. And above all, be respectful.
That is what being part of this program is truly about.
Thank you for your cooperation, your understanding, and for helping us maintain a respectful, supportive environment for all involved. Go panthers! 🐾❤️🥎
