Welcome home Sally and Ransom to your new home. Temporary for Ransom until your mom moves you to her own backyard when your barn is finished! Where you and Arloh (another boarded horse here) will live happily ever after!!!

It feels so fantastic to be part of so many equine and human stories, especially ones like these!

I’ve received many recent inquiries about “volunteering” in exchange for riding time. I want to clarify that volunteering and working for riding opportunities are not the same thing!

At Sunny Hill, the horses’ care comes first — always.

We are a small farm, and we value consistency, reliability, and genuine commitment. Training new people takes time, and any riding opportunities are earned through trust, hard work, and dedication, never expected in exchange for simply showing up.

Our volunteers become part of the family, both to the horses and to us. We are deeply grateful for those who continue to show up week after week and year after year. Your dedication is a huge part of why this farm continues to thrive.

We are blessed to have enough trained volunteers and staff that are committed to our farm that we are only accepting lesson, trail ride and summer camp clients at this time.

In the busy, work to find the peace.

Be nice to horse farm owners... There are many of you, and only so many horses and instructors to keep up ♥️🐴

It's a short season to ride, to improve the farm and for slowing down to enjoy the reasons why we share it all... Be patient. You'll need it to ride, so learn to use it when waiting for a response.

If it's been over 48-hrs (not including a weekend) and you have not heard back, please send a courtesy message to follow up :)

July 6-10 (the week long camp!): 2 spots
July 27-31(week long): 1 spot

August 4th, 5th: 2 spots, ages 9+

August 19th: 2 spots for ages 6-8, 2 spots for ages 9+

When booking, please send me your dates and windows of time on those days that you have availability :) It's a lot easier than you asking me when I have availability. I'll match your time wit calendar and we will work something out!

No riding experience necessary for lessons, trail rides or summer camps! ♥️
