The Frankfort Gladiators Offseason Folkstyle Training is designed to help wrestlers develop their skills, sharpen technique, and get additional mat time this spring.

Registration Reminder for Freestyle and Greco

We know the IKWF, IESA, and IWOCA state series are still in full swing right now, but this is a reminder that our Freestyle and Greco season is right around the corner.

The deadline to guarantee singlet orders is March 13. Any registrations after that date may result in receiving singlets late, and we are also approaching capacity in the room.

Last year we sent 5 wrestlers to the USA Wrestling Fargo Nationals and we expect that number to grow this year. The wrestlers who put the work in during the offseason are the ones who separate themselves when folkstyle season comes back around.

Huge thank you to for coming out and running an outstanding clinic. Our athletes got better because of your time, knowledge, and willingness to give back to the sport.

We also want to thank all of the wrestling families who showed up and packed the room as we gear up for the rest of the state series. The commitment from this community makes all the difference. Back to work and ready for the next step.

Practice: 5:30–6:45 PM | Monday & Wednesday

Session 2 – Ages 15–18
Practice: 7:00–8:30 PM | Monday, Wednesday, Friday

High School Girls
Practice: 5:30–6:45 PM | Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Registration includes 2 custom Rudis singlets and a team T-shirt.

Freestyle and Greco are essential for off-season development and preparing for the next level. Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly.

Frankfort Gladiator Wrestling presents a Valentine’s Day Clinic hosted by Iowa’s own Max Murin on February 14, 2026, from 10 AM–12 PM.

This clinic is open to all ages with at least one year of wrestling experience and limited to the first 50 participants. You must have a current USA Wrestling card to attend.

Shout-out to 2X Illinois HS Girls State Wrestling placer, Zoe Dempsey of New Lenox (Lincoln-Way Central) for pinning her way through a stacked 115 lb bracket at the 2025 Donnybrook Tournament! She pinned a returning Iowa HS state champ, Violet Diaz of Denver in the semis and then pinned a returning Iowa HS State Finalist, Kiersten Swart of Mount Vernon in the semis! She also pinned a returning placer from Kansas named Delaney Locke of Basehor-Linwood in the quarterfinals! One of the most balanced brackets in the tournament… Zoe has pinned everyone she’s wrestled this season except 10-1 decision a couple weeks ago! Zoe was an Illinois Freestyle state champ last year as well!

Whether you’re a coach, wrestler, or fan, the best never stop learning. This weekend our coaches headed to a clinic hosted by The University of Illinois, home of the tenth ranked wrestling team in the nation, to level up, learn from the best, and bring that energy back to our room.
