Our Elks concluded their season at the KTCCCA State Meet on Saturday. The Lady Elks finished 22nd overall with medalists in the 4x100 (8th), 4x200 (5th), and a State runner up performance by Imani Simpson in the Long Jump.

Beyond the medals, we had multiple personal records, school records, and all-time performances. Congratulations to all of our Elks on a very successful meet and a historic season!

Tonight, at our banquet, we celebrated the 2026 Elks. The achievements and efforts of this team has set a precedent for future teams to follow. While the State meet is still a week and a half away, we enjoyed celebrating a great season together.

Our East Frankfort Running Club kiddos finished our last meet of the season at Western Hills on Wednesday. Congratulations to these kids for setting personal records, and for all of our kids for their successful year!

The Elks rounded out the regular season at the Western Hills meet on May 13th and came out with two more team wins, multiple State qualifiers, top times, and personal records. Congratulations to all of our Elk student-athletes who have had such a successful season.

On Monday, May 11th, the Elks headed to Mercer Co for the Bill Smith Invitational. Coming off a week full of meets, kids were limited to two or three events, but still put up great performances.

On Friday, May 8th, the Elks headed to Scott County for the Bluegrass Conference Meet. The teams had a wonderful showing with the girls bringing home (once they ship it to us!) the second place trophy and our boys finishing third. We had multiple conference champions, medalist, PRs, school record performances, and state qualifiers. Congratulations to all of our Elk athletes!

On Thursday, May 7th, part of our EMS team headed to Henry County for the Wildcat Clash. Congratulations to our athletes for State qualifying performances, personal bests, and great effort all around

On Wednesday, May 6th, the EMS Track team headed to Scott County for an all-comers meet. The boys finished first overall, while the girls came in second by one point. The goal of the meet was to qualify for State and to set PRs. Mission Accomplished!
