Our 6th year of Kentucky traveling skate camp is ready to roll out! This skateboarding day camp is for kids and teens ages 5-16. This year we are offering two sessions of camp for Lexington and two for Louisville. Drop off and pick up at your local skate park. That is Woodland Skatepark for Lexington and Dave Armstrong Skatepark for Louisville. Drop off and pick up locations are also available in Shelbyville, Frankfort and Georgetown. Campers will go on a field trip every day to the best parks in the region. Best way to keeps kids off the screens and living their best life this summer. New tricks, new friends and core memories guaranteed! If you are 16+ and interested in being a counselor this summer send a message to apply.

I fixed the typo on the flyer and stood in my yard talking to my phone to make sure everyone knows the deal with our upcoming spring break trip to Knoxville. If you are stoked to go ahead and sign up. The trip is already filling up. Plenty of extra camping gear like tents, sleeping bags and mats are available. Spring break mission to Knoxville this year! Two nights and three day spree through Tennessee down to Knoxville across the Cookeville and back up. Wallows ditch, a legendary southeast skate spot that has been skated since the early 80s is in the tick list for sure. Camping at Big Ridge and Davy Crockett State Campground, so pack your coonskin cap! 🦝

Our first event at the Skate and Scare contest this year will be a launch ramp into a giant pile of leaves. This obstacle will be for beginners to tweak some grabs and huck spins into a Halloween foam pit of leaves. As insanely fun as this will be lest we forget the legend of Kole the young skater who vanished into leaf pile all those years ago 🪦

When the leaves begin to curl and the spiders rise from the dirt, you know it’s time for the 7th annual Skate and Scare Halloween skateboard contest and festival. La Grange skatepark will be the epicenter of the mayhem this year. Dawn your costumes, bring your candy buckets, cast a spell on your board to ensure wild ride. There will be some diabolical best trick challenges and extraordinary prizes up for grabs. Skate and Scare is for all creatures big and small young and old so come skate while you still can 🪦
