Shelbyville Skate Club is about to start its ninth year. If you like skating or think you might like it come join the session every Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00. In the summer and early fall we are often out there until 7:00 because it so nice out. We got some new ramps at the park last winter that are super fun and great to learn new tricks on. Bring your snack money for a trip up to Cubert’s but only after you earned it with a new trick! Skate club is for all ages and ability levels. It’s free to join and free skate lesson are offered weekly for beginners

Holy mackerel did we did the jackpot today. We pulled up to Madison Indiana to find the public park closed. A desperate internet search led us to the secret gem tucked into the woods near an abandoned railroad. As we bushwhacked through the jewel w**d surrounding the spot I knew we were in for a special session. Hot dang skateboarding will take you places. Places only skaters wanna go and only skateboarders appreciate. It’s a beautiful thing. Thank you to Sean Lory for building this spot and letting us skate it. I can only image the amount of work this spot took.

Polaroids from the Chicago skate trip. So many rad moments. Very stoked on this journey and how the crew held it down. I think it is true to say it made us all tougher, tighter, more grateful, more swashbuckling and more in love with skateboarding than ever before❤️‍🔥

This trip is special. Kentucky boys skating downtown Chicago, scoping out some ancient Egyptian mummies at the museum then night swimming in Lake Michigan and sleeping under the stars. Five days and four nights of real livin. Can not wait 🌆

Our 6th year of Kentucky traveling skate camp is ready to roll out! This skateboarding day camp is for kids and teens ages 5-16. This year we are offering two sessions of camp for Lexington and two for Louisville. Drop off and pick up at your local skate park. That is Woodland Skatepark for Lexington and Dave Armstrong Skatepark for Louisville. Drop off and pick up locations are also available in Shelbyville, Frankfort and Georgetown. Campers will go on a field trip every day to the best parks in the region. Best way to keeps kids off the screens and living their best life this summer. New tricks, new friends and core memories guaranteed! If you are 16+ and interested in being a counselor this summer send a message to apply.

I fixed the typo on the flyer and stood in my yard talking to my phone to make sure everyone knows the deal with our upcoming spring break trip to Knoxville. If you are stoked to go ahead and sign up. The trip is already filling up. Plenty of extra camping gear like tents, sleeping bags and mats are available. For vittles we will do big group dinners, and breakfasts around the fire. Spring break mission to Knoxville this year! Two nights and three day spree through Tennessee down to Knoxville across the Cookeville and back up. Wallows ditch, a legendary southeast skate spot that has been skated since the early 80s is in the tick list for sure. Camping at Big Ridge and Davy Crockett State Campground, so pack your coonskin cap! 🦝

Christmas clip of legend Sean Mcsorley getting some on the extension a Berryhill on Monday December 2 2025 at age 63 (64 next month). Sean’s been skating in Lexington since the 70s. If you catch him at the park ask him about the forgotten history of Kentucky skateboarding in the 70s and 80s his stories will blow your mind. Alright youngins go getchoo a frontside grind
